Class begins on top of the astronomy tower. Students are gathering in front of their telescopes. It is a calm and clear night.
Emma stood at her usual spot and began unpacking her telescope. She was a few minutes late, but the Professor didn't seem to notice. They were having a double class with the Gryffindors, making the astronomy tower feel small and cramped.

Abigail ran in with her bag, unpacking per telescope at lightning speed. Her edd curls flew as she did things so quickly, and when she finally slowed down to catch her breath, she looked like she hadn't been late at all. She smiled and nodded at Emma, and adjusted her telescope to fit her short size.
Emma waved, before twisting a few knobs on her telescope.
Abigail walked over to her, and said a quiet hi, barely repressing her bubbly attitude. "What are we learning tonight? I read something about stars being lost souls, and those who feel had another chance on earth, but never knew they were stars in the first place." she whispered happily.
"I think we're learning about Jupiter's moons," Emma said, staring up into the night sky.
Annmarie wrote on her tablet as she gazed through her telescope. She finished it, and gave it to the Proffessor, and packed her things up. She smiled and waved to Emma, and walked out of class.
"Hi, Grace," Emma said as she adjusted her telescope and searched through her bag for a quill and bottle of ink.
"Something with Jupiter's moons," Emma said.
"I could have sworn we studied them last year," Emma said, propping open her textbook.
James walked in and set his telescope up, nearly breaking the thing in the process. He picked a spot next to the girl that didn't take his locket- he made a mental note to find her name out- and acted like he hadn't noticed. Getting his books out, and parchment and ink, he sat to writing the assignment down, staring out his telescope a lot.
Emma glanced up as more of her classmates filed in and yawned widely. It was going to be a long Astronomy class, she thought with a sigh.

since he was the only one in the room she knew she walked over to him
" Hey" she said
"Hello Sapphire." his said. "Do you know how old the oldest star is? Because, to be perfectly honest, I have no idea!" he looked up to her from where he was sitting, and flashed another grin.
"No one asked you?!" he glanced up from his book with unbelieving eyes. "I won't stand for a pretty blue gem to be tucked away in her room. Would you like to attend the dance with me?" he stood up, and smiled at her tucking a small piece of her hair behind her ear.
He smiled and nodded, settling back down on the ground. "Alright Sapphire." he said, in a low tone.
((Okay! Me too, If I can do so...))
"Oh, thank Merlin! I'm done with this!" he stood up and gave his papers to the professors, coming back to her and shoving things into his bag, and packing up his telescope. "Would you like to go now?" he asked o of the blue.

"It's being held in the Great Hall. would you like to get ready?" he asked her hauling everything onto his back. "I'd like to freshen up, too." he said charmingly.
"Not that many people signed up," Emma said. "It's just an elective class, so most people don't feel the need to come."
"It looked very informative and I've heard excellent things about the professor," Emma commented.
"I wonder what we'll be doing today," Emma said.
((A FEW MONTHS LATER!))
The professor walked quickly into class, clasping their hands behind their back. Their light green eyes looked upon the class. "Let's begin our class by having a small pop quiz." They said, seating themselves. "Who can tell me what you might be able to do with a fallen star? There are rumors of witch's using their shine to keep youth. Is this true?"
