Mark walked down the street he lived only a few blocks from his job and living in a large city it was faster to walk then it was to fight with traffic let alone find a place to park that didn't require him running to the meter every 2 hours to add another dollar.

Brook finished cleaning the counters and opened shop but only after making herself a carmel mocha.

He walked into the coffee shot that was on the way to pick up a coffee to help keep the chill of the air from making the walk unbearable

Brook looked up as he came in. "Good morning."

"good morning" he smiled seeing her

"So what'll it be sir?" she said politely.

he looked up at the board "what do you recomend?"

"Hmm...I don't know I always start my day with a carmel mocha but I'm not sure what your tastes are."

"i'll give one of those a shot...large please"

She turned around and made the drink then went to the counter, "Here you are careful it's hot." she handed him the cup.

"thanks" he smiled taking it and handed her the money

She handed the mnoney back to him. "First customer's always free." She smiled.

he smiled "maybe i should start coming in more then" he winked at her

She blushed a little.He wasn't bad looking and though she'd never say it she wouldn't mind ifhe came in every morning. "Well thats up to you."

he smiled "i have to go before i'm late for my own job. It was nice talking to you"

She smiled back."Okay.Have a great day."

he waved as he left

She laid her cheek on her hand and sighed.She couldn't explain it but she hoped he'd come back.

he went to work his mind on the girl from the coffee shop kicking himself for not getting her name

She started cleaning then she saw a wallet.It must belong to that man she looked inside to see his I.D there was no doubt it was him.... Mark.She liked that name.She quickly ran out the door and saw him walking down the street."Mark!" She yelled after him.

he was about to turn the courner when he heard someone call for him. he looked around and spotted her from the coffee shop. he smiled and waved

She caught up to him then smiled attempting to catch her breath then handed him the wallet. "You forgot this."

he smiled "thanks" he said putting it into his back pocket

She blushed."No problem."

"oh...i never got your name" he smiled at her

"uhh...Brook." She said blushing heavily.

"well brook how about i take you to lunch?"

"...Okay." She said

"i'll come pick you up at the coffee shop around 1" he smiled

She smiled back. "See you then."

"see you then" he smiled then started to rush off to work

All day she thought of him with anxious anticipation.
