Here is another. . Jenna is another one of my favorites. She is a posthumous sculpture. Many of the sculptures that I create are of deceased loved ones. That is what my novel is about. And here is a video on that project ( the sculpting not the novel.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=...
Thanks Laurwhisker, She is a favorite. I started sculpting many years ago on the beach. I have always been able to do portraits and when I found clay it was like coming home. I love to document my process. I'll post some others that I have done with the process.
This is the newsboy. When I created him I also created web pages that document the process. I wanted it to also contain information for teachers and home schoolers. Something that individuals could follow.
The process starts here http://www.creativesculpture.com/texa...
I also created a couple of videos but they don't have the educational element in them like the blog ( not really a blog, it was done with webpages before I knew about blogs) Newsboy video part 1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTDv3k...
Part 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OGcSn...
I should mention that the panther project also has its own blog http://prairieviewpanther.blogspot.com/
Thanks for the comments. Lets see what else I can post.... hmmm oh, besides sculpting the bronze pieces I also sculpt a gift line, here is a sample of one of those.

Ultimate Frisbee
A recent commission—so thanksgiving is over and the father has given this to his son as a gift. I can't wait to hear what he thinks. The son was on the ultimate frisbee team at the University of Texas- he is depicted as the one catching the frisbee. This piece is about 20" high.
11 foot Panther
This grueling project was for Prairie View A & M University in Texas. When people ask me how much time it took me to do the piece, my reply is not enough. Many, many 14 hour days, but it is finally done.
You can read about many of these project on my blog http://www.creativesculpture.blog. I was delighted to use some of the techniques from my book Digital Sculpting with Mudbox: Essential Tools and Techniques for artists. I'm using what I call tra-digi art- a mixture of traditional and digital process.
