Thanks Dhes. I have this in print but never got to it yet. Is this the one that was drastically edited by the publisher and Pamela reworked?
If I remember correctly, that was Carnal Gift. And Surrender and Untamed... maybe Sweet Release and Ride the Fire, too, to a lesser degree.
*sigh* I'm sorry I'm not of more help.

Wow, that is one fantastic Masthead. Love the characters chosen and especially the font. Congratulations. Even more proud to be a part of this group!

Thanks, Sunny! We're glad to have you with us!
I've seen Christine's work for other groups... she's very talented!

Thanks Dhes & you're very welcome! Thanks Sunny! I can't take credit for the font though, it's from Pamela's new book Defiant. I liked it so much, I decided to incorporate her name from the book cover into the masthead.
OMG!Christine, this is lovely! Thank you so much! You've read DEFIANT already? So cool! I'm glad you liked it.
OK, that was a whole rush of thoughts at once.
Slowing down...
I'm checking in from a canyon west of Parachinar, Pakistan, clearly out of it, when I find an email from Dhes, telling me there's a banner. I find out too, that this group is going through something of an upgrade. Is that correct?
Then I pop over and discover this beautiful art, names that are new to me, and a bunch of posts.
So thank you, Dhes, for all you do! And thank you, Christine, for the truly beautiful banner!
And, wow, you've read DEFIANT!
Only 26 days till it's out, and I am chomping at the bit lie some kind of horse with rabies to discuss the story with everyone!
OK, this message is so incoherent. I need to go back to Pakistan, I think.
:-)

Pamela,
I don't think Christine was saying she read the book, she took the words Pamela Clare from the cover of the book and used it in the masthead.
Pakistan???????? LOL!!! Wait... is it I-Team #6?? Or REALLY in Pakistan! LOL!

It's I-Team 6, which Julieanne titled STRIKING DISTANCE so we could quit calling it I-TEAM #6. Delta platoon of SEAL Team 7 has been tasked with infiltrating a hostile stronghold and capturing a known terrorist named Abu Nayef Al-Nassar, head of one of several AQ splinter groups. Senior Chief Petty Officer Javier Corbray, who has more missions under his belt than anyone else on the team, will have his gun in the fight for sure, serving as second in command. Cobra, as his Team guys call him when they don't call him Chief, is in for a big surprise tonight.
Christine, Dhes clarified things for my poor, weary mind. I'm glad you like the font! And I hope if/when you do read it that you'll enjoy DEFIANT. :-)In the meantime, thanks so very much for the lovely banner.
OMG, Pamela. I'm so ready for Striking Distance now.Christine, you are awesome and I want your talent!!!!!! Actually, I want yours and Pamela's talent.
Pamela, I'm not sure that will remain its name, but since I haven't come up with a title on my own... And thanks! It's going to be exciting, I think. I hope.
Oh wow, the masthead is AWESOME! Pakistan?!! Thanks for clarifying, you had me worried for your safety!! I really like the title "Striking Distance", but of course you'll want something you think suites the story best. Although if his name is 'Cobra', sounds like a pretty close fit.
Aw, thanks! I always wanted to go on assignment to Iraq or Afghanistan, KarLyn, but I felt that as a mother with two dependent children, that would be really irresponsible, so I didn't.So I'm only in Pakistan in my head. :-)

Christine, seriously, I am so in love with that masthead. Please allow me to gift you a kindle copy of DEFIANT when it's released? Please, it would mean a lot to me to be able to repay your generosity!
Pamela, you're welcome... I enjoyed working on it! I really appreciate you sharing those MacKinnon brothers with us!Dhes, you're just too sweet! I do appreciate the offer, but not necessary, I already have Defiant pre-ordered for kindle. That's one book I just have to have as soon as it's released!
Christine, as you wish.
Thank you again, so much, for all the amazing mastheads popping up all over Goodreads. You're so good at putting them together, and making them represent the group you've created them for! I've enjoyed chatting these past couple days!!

Awww, thanks, Pamela and Sunny! **hugs** It's a humbling honor, that's for sure!
I am soooooooo thankful for Goodreads and the MANY amazing people who take the time to write reviews and give us their honest opinions of the books they've read. Their input in INVALUABLE and the article shows that even the 'little people' can make a difference!
You should ALL be very proud!
