Welcome to the All Things Winter Challenge!

Duration - December 22nd through March 20th

This is the Winter version of our Reading Through the Seasons Challenge, and I'm posting this early to give everyone a chance to plan ahead. Just like all the other Not Too Challenging Challenges, you decide how to make it work for you.

Some examples of ways to make a book fit:

**A character’s name is Winter.
** Winter celebrations such as Christmas, Hanukah, Valentines Day, etc…
**Books published or taking place in December, January, February or March count, as well as books in which the word December, January, February or March is used anywhere in the book or title.
**Books with Winter related words in the title such as chill, cold, ice, snow, etc…
**Books with Wintery images on the cover.
**Books that make you want to bundle up and read!
*****Most importantly, if you can tie it to Winter, it works!*****

Please!!! When you post your stats updates, do it like this: x/12 or "3 down..." etc., because this way it’s much easier for me to keep track of. I’m not getting any younger, and neither are my eyes!

Feel free to list your books at any time, and change them or alter your challenge right up through March 20th.

The only restriction to this challenge is that books can only count if they were started on or after December 22nd and must be finished on or before March 20th.

Oh, I just came back for the bookstore where I bought ... oh and - it is the season for them, right? Also . So, do you think the last can be counted b/c it is pronounced the same as "sleigh"?

The last one can count because it sounds like sleigh, or because it was originally published in January :)

Me too, Lisa. That story by her in A Texas Christmas was really good. Loved the hero and the heroine.

Danielle's WLLK All Things Winter Challenge
Duration: December 22, 2011- March 20, 2012
Goal: Read 20 books that are related in any way to the month of winter, including cold weather, titles related to winter, or authors or characters with winter-themed names. Even a cover that has a winter theme. If can related it to the season of winter, it's fair game.

YAY! I'm glad to see so many people interested. I think the seasonal or quarterly challenges are the easiest to do.

Thanks! I wanted to find something that looked like a winter hr scene. It didn't need to be animated but I thought it was pretty :)

I'll keep looking. I love pixies and unicorns. Maybe I can find something too.
