I had just started this book before it was anounced this month's book! So far so good! I am a little confused in lil pieces here and there but the fog is slowly lifting.

Hmmmm now I really like it after saying that! It makes me feel like Clara. She is confused and has sort of a "fog" hovering over her "sight" which is slowly being lifted away! :D That's epic!

Are you talking about Clary? Have you read The Lightning Thief? In The Lightning Thief there is a mist If I'm remembering correctly that hides Gods and Monsters from Mortals just like the sight!

True. Though it more like twists what they see rather than hide it.

I loved the beginning and middle of this book but towards the end it became a little slow and I especially didn't like the twist at the end. Regardless I'm reading the rest of the series. (view spoiler)[ What did you guys think of Hodge's betrayal at the end... I was pretty surprised and disappointed... I couldn't believe it! Also what did you guys think of Jace and Clary being siblings? That almost ruined the book for me. (hide spoiler)]

Alyssa, Trust me that won't become a problem... The next two books are good if not better

Ewwww I dislike Clary she annoys me. I think she is a whiny little baby who gets everything she wants and so that's one reason I dislike this book. She is super annoying!

Yeah she's definitely not one of my favorite characters either...

Loves this book even though I read the second, third and fourth book before this one.... Jace is so damn awesome!

City of Bones was amazing

I just found out something (I told my friend today that I got bored with the books and didn't bother reading the newest one [It lost me at the second book.] and she completely clued me in on what happens) and oh my gosh we've been completely wrong but I won't ruin the rest of the series for you guys but the story's change is HUGE!

I once talked to my friend about the first book and i mentioned the twist in the end and her sister who hasn't read the book but going to sat next to her..

I read all of the books in the series and it still amazes me! but the fourth one I found a little dissapointing...but it was still good :D And I just have to say Magnus Bane is one Awesome person... just saying..

I'm already waiting on line" im trying not to get too excited because i dont want to end disappointed but i cant help it especially since Cassandra Clare is collaborating with the screen writer in writing the script and i think Lily makes a good Clary :)

Same! Everyone on goodreads needs to see it so they make City of Ashes a movie .. Too bad not many people saw I AM NUMBER 4 I was excited to see a sequel :(

they better make all of them into movies! i never got the chance to see I am Number Four but i really wanted to =/ but i didnt know that they werent going to make a second one! i kinda want to read the books though.

i love the cover, but i was hoping for someone like alec or magnus or isabelle to be on the cover.....hopefully next time :)

How could they? He is such a big character in the first 3 novels.

Magnus Bane is a huge character! In all the books AND in the Infernal Devices trilogy. How do you leave him out?!

Last i heard Cassandra Clare and the sceen writer for Pretty Little Liars were writting the script together :)

Lol when is it coming out? They have only cast 2 characters so far (clary and jace) according to IMDB

im not sure yet..Grrr i really want to see the rest of the cast!
