The Dark Tower Boxed SetHis Dark Materials
The Harry Potter Collection
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
Darkfever: The Fever Series
The Hunger Games Trilogy Boxset
The Dark Tower is far and away my most favorite books ever.
The trick is making it to the 2nd book. The first book the Gunslinger is a little hard to get through but once I got into it, I read them all back to back. He has another coming out in April that will be an addition in the middle of the series.
My Top Five Favorites
This Book has everything!
This is like trying to pick five favorite songs, very difficult.
My husband read them all, He is the one that got me into them. Like I said I read a short story on it and it had zombie like things in and all, so of course I liked it.
Really, I didn't find the first one hard to get through at all. I found it at work (we share books there) and it is what pulled me into the whole series.I actually didn't like Song of Suzanna very much and thought parts of it were hard to get through.

For some reason I started it like 10 times... It took me a while to find what I liked about it. Song of Susannah sort of dumped way too many answers into one of the shortest books in the series.

I just got the dark tower series and the sword of truth collection. I already have more books than I will read this year. lol
Me too. I've told myself I'm not buying any more until I read all the ones that I have. Not sure how long that will last :)
DARK TOWER SERIES
Sad to say that I have never finished the last book :(
Someone told me that one of the main characters dies at the end and I have made it to the last 100 pages and cannot bring myself to grieve over any of the characters I love them all so much. I started them in highschool (I graduated in 2005) and I've reread them multiple times and have never been able to bring myself to finish it
<~~~~sappy goober

Its been over 7 years; still can't bring myself to do it...maybe on my death bed when all my internal organs are failing and I am blind I'll have my future great grandchild read the end to me. Or if you read it, you can just tell me who dies lol
Oh my, I totally forgot about the Little House on the Prairie series. I read them in the 4th grade, I remember I got the entire series for Christmas. At first I was so mad I got books but that series actually got me into reading books on the regular. Great series!

When I was younger, and I guess I still am this way, I loved history and learning about how people lived way back when. I loved reading the little house on the prairie series and playing the Oregon Trail. lol. The two went well together.
I have never read Nancy Drew or the Hardy Boys. I think I'm to young for those. I'm only 24

I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU HAVE NOT READ THE END!!!!!! That someone who told you that should be shot! You need to read the end, I can't tell you but it makes sense for the storyline.
I know I know, it is horrible that I have never finished it. Since it has been so long since I read the books I think that somewhere in the near future perhaps I will start the series over again. But I cannot guarantee that I will be able to finish it. lol.
I normally only read books that are a part of a series and this is the only one that has effected me this way. I found a good used book website (www.abebooks.com)that has great used books in great condition available to purchase for a great price. I was looking into it for the first time last night. Although I did not purchase them, I looked into the Dark Tower series. I could get the entire series, start to finished, with shipping and handling already added in for a total of $23 and some change! It got me really excited to reread them again.

Wow, that is a pretty good price! I have actually already bought books from that website. If you do read it again, go luck with reading the ending! LOL
If I do, I'll make my own thread starting with book one with all of my anxieties and nightmares about which one I am going to lose. I loved all of those characters over any other characters in all of the books I have read. I actually had a 10 gallon fish tank and all my fish were named after them. lol. They all died. Which Kind of Sucked.
PS: were you happy with the quality of the books once you got them? That is the only part I found worrisome.

But seeing as they are used from different people I can't vouch for all the books. I would try it out though for sure at that price.
