It's good to see a leading women who is just as special as the other characters in the book (yes she might not have know she is special but it was refreshing) that's what I like about Cassandra clares writing as she did the same with clary and it was nice that a women could do just as good or even better than the men! The way Cassandra clare writes it makes you feel you are in the book as you can easily picture everything as the scene unfolds. For me this had plenty of twists and turns, cliff hangers and plenty of moments where you had to stop and let the breath out that you didn't realize you were holding in.

Lucy Qhuay I loved the book but I sincerely disliked Will at first. He was so cruel.
Now that I have read Clockwork Prince I understand what was going on with him and his pain touches me deeply.

T.J. | 111 comments The second book made me cry. I rarely cry in books. I got so mad with the wholse-Jem/Will thing because it is so obvious she is meant to be with Will and it still gets me both depressed and mad :(

Jade | 5 comments In The Infernal Devices series!!
Does anyone remember the scene describing Jessamine’s parasol; I am currently working on a Coplay and are in need of the description.

message 24: by Joya (new) - rated it 5 stars

Joya | 106 comments It was amazing, and I thought it was unique, and different from books I have read recently. What really caught my attention was the characters though. They were really powerful, and extremely memorable. there was always some emotion visible on my face while reading this book.

Julia Griffis - The Romance Bibliophile (theromancebibliophile) @Joya Very well said:) The TID series will always be near and dear to my heart, especially the characters. They completely make the story, and I will most certainly never forget them. There is not one single day that goes by that I don't think of them. I love how "Clockwork Angel" is so unique and the story is something I've never come across before in a novel, with the exception of The Mortal Instruments. I'm completely addicted to the Shadow World! I also love Cassandra Clare's writing style; it's very descriptive and detailed yet is very intriguing. All in all, "Clockwork Angel" is an exceptionally phenomenal YA novel!

Joya | 106 comments @Legend I agree completely, the shadow world is so interesting, and I am always excited to know more. It was similar to books I've read, but there is something that separates it from the rest. It is a very memorable series that I will never forget.

priya (gpriyaa) I found the beginning of clockwork angel boring at the beginning but then later it got über amazing

Rachel (APCB Reviews) (gr8rach) | 75 comments I didn't like this book when I first started reading it because it was slower paced than TMI but then I realized the characters were much more descriptive and real, the setting and writing was pretty, and I was able to just recline and enjoy this wonderful book.

Inda (indaherwood) | 129 comments I have a feeling that city of heavenly fire is going to be written and ended like this. Somehow someway, Cassie is going to give us an ending that will somehow appease us all. I mean she is the only author I have ever read who made a freaking love triangle work out for all three parties. The woman is superman, don't fret.

Exactly, I adore Will; he might be my favorite book character of all time. But, I love Jem as well. The epilogue of CP2 surprised me; I was so ecstatic that Tessa ultimately got to have both of them.... even though I cried my heart out.

Rachel (APCB Reviews) (gr8rach) | 75 comments Will is amazing <3

Yeah I think so too.

Ds (durre) | 23 comments i really love this book really awsome

Lillian Anderssen | 1 comments Fell in love with Will, he's such a relatable person when it comes to feelings and how you sometimes build up a wall only some can tear down. Loved the book so much!

Kerri (Herondalle) | 69 comments At the beginning I found it hard to read. I started reading it because I always did wanna check it out and I got the book for free so might as well right? I found it hard to read because J thought if was too boring then I got near the middle él then it started to get interesting. So in the end I did really love the book

Laura | 70 comments Ashleigh just keep reading it gets better :)

Caitlin | 2 comments Hey all :) So I just saw in the Shadowhunters T.V show that the Shadohunters were invisible to regular people. Now, I have not read TMI but I have read TID and I don't remember them mentioning whether they were invisible or not. Were they invisible the whole time in TID as well? I'm just curious because it's bothering me that I can't remember! Thanks!

s.shadereads In TMI they have runes that keep them invisible to mundanes (Mendelin Rune). I cant remember if they mentioned them in TID's but I would imagine they also had them on or the mundane world would have been in a complete panic. And no they weren't invisible the entire time just when they applied the rune.

Caitlin | 2 comments Ok, thanks. I was just wondering :)

Ashley | 3 comments I just started this book 2 nights ago, and simply cant put it down. As soon as I get home its the first thing I grab. lol. Im not finished with it just yet, but.... so far, I LOVE IT. The characters the banter between them. Each one and their little quirks. The depth of the story. How the dark and light is so closely intertwined. I love it all!

Haha, welcome to the fandom! Also, prepare yourself, for the PAIN. No, seriously, PAIN.

I don't know if I cry or if I laugh. But I agree! Prepare yourself, Ashley! It gets more and more painful, but it's worth the read. Hope you like the series! :)

Cambrie Nechanicky | 46 comments As always, I loved the way Clare starts her book series. She does a great job with developing her characters that are impossible not to feel like you know them and are part of their world. Will was definitely a Herondale, after reading the mortal instruments series, and I could see the resemblance between Will and Jace. Always sarcastic, not caring, reckless. Jem was a much harder character to like at first, but eventually he grew on me. My heart broke for Tessa in the beginning when she's with the Dark Sisters. I'm glad she found the shadowhunters :)
