I think that KMM's series really picks up with the 4th book, Kiss of the Highlander and it is definitely one of my fave series.
Try Veronica Wolff and Anita Clenney
Both Catherine Bybee and I write Highland time travels as well.

When a series reaches a certain length, I am always reminded of a joke from Spaceballs the Movie:
"God willing, we'll all meet again in Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money"

You might be interested to know that a newspaper in Scotland (!) just ran a story about me and my book, Legacy of the Highlands! So exciting!

What a thrill for your book. I have love scotland all my life(I am 70) and as I am adopted, knew little about my parentage. I finally met my birth mother in 2001, but she said she knew nothing about my father except his name. Last fall, I took the gamble to have my DNA analyzed. I was thrilled to find I have Scottish ancestry. As well as Welsh, English, Irish,Romanian, german and greek. As well as Italian and Swiss from my mothers side. I am a true melting pot. But it is the scottish in my that I hold most dear.

Hi Anne,
I'm so happy the DNA analysis turned up interesting information about you...I'm very tempted to do it too, but haven't taken the plunge yet. It's fascinating that a genetic link that you've been unaware of shows itself in your interests.
