Thank you! I hope this isn't too much work for you, or that you request help from a co-moderator if need be. If GoodReads doesn't enable out-of-group custom challenges (or maybe even if they do) I already know I'll want to participate in more of these next year.... :)
Thanks to both of you.
I was writing in the feedback group for someone who wanted step by step "catalog" instructions, and realized that my sorting probably wasn't the best method of finding a challenge link. So I made this second arrangement. I think it is a bit easier for those who are just joining, and didn't go through the growing pains that we did at the beginning!

Almeta, I already signed up for two of your challenges and looking to do one more, the ones I already signed up for work great thanks to you.

I noticed your commitment to 100 ebooks. That's a lot. I think I have challenged myself to five. Although I have an ereader, I still am hooked on the printed page!

I just got the e-reader before Christmas and want to try and get a lot of use out of it. I have only read one other book (graphic novel actually paper being better suited than my e-ink reader.) I find that I actually read e-ink faster then books, although I've read online that that is not normally the case. Anyways your challenge will hopefully inspire me to get a lot of use out from it.
On our home page, when you click on "more challenges" I am still getting an error, is anyone else having this issue?? It has been this way for me for several weeks. An error message does display that Goodreads is working on it - but I wonder if they really are, it seems like they should have had it working by now.
Linda, This has been a complaint for many, many weeks.
Supposedly a new upgrade will fix this and other bugs. We are not told exactly when that will be, so waiting is all that we can do!☺

very much so. I think they did an upgrade already, have either of you noticed the look of the groups home pages?? They are different, and I think that was done this week, or maybe last week......

The design change was just done. This is really a separate project from the upcoming upgrade.

Ok, well, I really hope they get it working soon, I want to see how everyone is progressing on their challenges..... :)

It is really frustrating.
In the meantime, use the Challenge Catalog thread. There are links to each challenge there.
The progress of some of the challenges are really moving along nicely, while others are lagging way behind. I know I need to focus more on my home library challenge, especially.

Yes, I noticed that.
I flagged my Doorstoppers at 500 instead of 600 pages. Not that has made any difference. I tend to read the smaller ones for the satifaction of saying that I read two books within the time it would have taken me to read one doorstopper.☺
I also said I was going to read Haruki Murakami who writes enormous books.
Was supposed to cover two challenges that way. Humph.

It looks like we can open our challenge catalog now, but I have either put books on the wrong shelf or Goodreads have put them out of order - I will need to go in and correct mine. Has anyone else noticed this issue??? Maybe it is just me???
