Hola! I'm Marissa (^^ if you can't tell from my name) :) And I love baking and writing. I live in southern California (the U.S.) and don't find that very exciting. I'd love to live somewhere where it snows, though, because I've only been in the snow two or three times. Oh, and I'm 13 years old by the way :D (14 in March)

Hey Marissa! I live in Singapore and it NEVER SNOWS. The only times I've seen snow is when I go travelling to other countries

Hi, I'm Mel!
I'm 17 and live in the UK, which is a VERY multi-cultural society (especially where I live, in Birmingham), so I come across racism ALL the time...I admit, even I used to be quite offhand about cultural jokes, but I like to think I've changed since my early teens...

I got invited to join by Marissa (thanks!), and am very "intrigued" by racism, shall we say, after I realised one of my friends in my psyche class had a very offensive sense of humour...but the fact that he doesn't seem to REALISE he's saying anything inappropriate is interesting - his whole family shares this trait.

Hopefully this group will help me understand racism a bit more...

Ooh, and I hope to make some new friends along the way, too! (If anyone can bear my rambling rants, that is...)

Hi everyone! I'm Allison, but my friends call me Ally. I have a bisexual brother and a bunch of "religiously intolerant" friends (by the way, theres an aweful discrimination story to go along with that title), I am a polytheist/atheist so I hope y'all don't mind cause I've gotten a lot of angry words about that. I love other cultures and religions and of course reading/writing. So yeahhh, that's me.
