How about...this nerdy-ish girl is friends with one of the most "popular" guys at school, but he's kinda embarrassed to be seen with her around his friends...but then she like..gets a major makeover and he ends up liking her a lot...just an idea. Haha. What do ya think?

Delilah walked into the school with a sigh. She had to wear her stupid glasses because she was all out of contacts...and she wouldn't be getting them for another few weeks.

Zach stepped off the bus and looked at the school, he hated being there but it was a new year and he was hoping things would change. Zach felt a few hands touch his shoulders and soon he realised it was just his mates coming to see him.

Delilah made her way to her locker, not really paying attention to all the people greeting their friends. With a silent sigh, she opened her locker and put what she didn't need in it.

He smiled as he walked into school with his mates and some other people. He headed down the corridor towards his locker, just a few down from Delilah

Lily got out all that she needed for her class, and shut her locker. As she was walking by some guys to get to her first class, she heard one of them snicker and say "What a nerd!" Delilah sighed at the comment as she sat down in her first class. No matter what she did, everyone still thought of er as a "nerd"

Zach was one of the last guys in the class, he looked up and noticed Delilah, was she a newbie? He walked past her swiftly without saying anything, Zach's eyes were almost glued on her as he took a seat up the back with his friends.

Lily saw Zach in the corner of her eye, but otherwise was very focused on the teacher, getting the required pen and paper out.

Zach eventually got a pen thrown at him by the teacher. "Mr King are you paying any attention?"
He looked to him. "Ahh yes sir." He said before taking out his books and pens.

Delilah glanced back at Zach when she heard the conversation, but quickly glanced back to the teacher. She had known Zach since the third grade, but he never payed much attention to her. She started writing notes...

Zach had caught eyes with Delilah before she had looked away again, he thought that maybe she thinks he didnt like her but deep down he did. Zach began to write notes down but was slow at doing so.

Lily ended up getting ahead of herself on the notes, so she started writing slower, glancing up at the teacher.

Zach took a while to write down the notes, he was busy watching the teacher, Delilah and his friends.

Delilah ended up finishing early...so she laid her pen down as she neatly put the paper in her folder. Once that was done, she simply watched the teacher talk.

Zach was called again, he sighed. "I didnt do anything."
"Mr King your distracting the class and you threw a pen at Maggie."
"So you threw a pen me." He said trying to get him off guard.
"Thats it.. detention.. now."
Zach frowned as he stood and grabbed his books, walking past Delilah to get to the teacher.

Delilah followed Zach with her eyes, watching him go over to the teacher. She started to wonder if he even noticed her sometimes. With a silent sigh, she looked back over to where the teacher was still standing.

Zach walked out of the room and as he passed the windows he glanced at Delilah then left.

Delilah was so focused on the teacher she didn't notice Zach as he passed by the windows.

He headed towards the detention room only thinking of Delilah.

As the class dragged on, Delilah sighed, and started doodling, not really knowing what it was of yett.

After first period Zach was still in detention, he had the next class with Delilah but wasnt there.

Delilah ended up getting so caugh up in her drawing, she didn't notice the class was over. Finally, the teacher came over to her "Ms. Lawfle, you should get going." he said. "Oh ub, yeah. Sorry." she said, gathering her stuff as the teacher walked back to his desk. She walked out of the classroom and went to her next class, since she already had everything she needed. She sighed as no one she knew, or liked for that matter, was in the room.

As they all got settled the teacher marked the roll them looked aruond. "Where is Mr King?"

Lily waited for one of his friends to answer the question, but after she realized none of them were going to, she simply told the teacher. "Detention."

She looked over to Lily. "And you are?"

"Delilah." she told the teacher.

"Hmm." She nodded. "Thank you."

"Welcome," she said quietly as she felt eyes on her. She hated attention, which is probably one of the reasons she wasn't popular.

Later Zach walked in. "Ahh Mr King, how was detention?"
He sighed and took a seat not answering.

Delilah looked up from her work to see who was entering the room. Once she saw it was Zach, she looked back down, and resumed working.

Zach glanced to Delilah, he noticed she did that a lot.. more than he thought.

Delilah finished her work, knowing the assignment would be homework if it wasn't finished. As the teacher walked by her desk, she took the paper and looked it over, impressed that Lily completed it correctly in the short amount of time. The teacher took her paper to her desk, and resumed walking the room

Zach looked at the assingment, he had almost finished just needed a bit more time.

Delilah glanced around the room. Then she took out her sketch of some type of tropical bird that she had started last class.

Zach finished in just enough time, he handed it up to her then went back, he looked at the Drawing Delilah had done.

By the time Zach had seen her drawing, it was already done. It was a pretty good sketch too. But, of course, Lily didn't like it so she put it in her folder and started readin her novel.

Zach noticed, he sighed before taking a seat.

Delilah started getting bored with her book, so she put in back in her desk, and just looked around the room.

Zach pulled out his ipod and began to listen to his music, he sighed bored as hell.

Lily sighed as she looked to the clock. There was still another 20 minutes of class. She sighed, almost silently. She was so bored. Delilah decided she needed to get out of the class for a few minutes, so she got up to ask the teacher to go to the bathroom, then left the room, but stayed in the hallway.
