Katie Do you think that Firnen should have went with Saphira since they love each other?

Whitney He couldn't exactly abandon Arya. I like how it ended, but I would certainly like there more of story between Saphira & Firnen, Arya & Eragon, Murtagh & Nasuada.

Maybe Christopher will write another series with a different main character but all of these ones can still be in it.

Ashley He said something about coming back to Alagaesia. Maybe he'll write another book about a new rider and how that changes everything?

Sarah I hated how he ended it.

Clara i liked how he ended it but i wish he would write more about Eragon and Saphira...

If you look on his website, Ashley, he says that he's writing shorter but more sequels.... he says he's going to write them soon.YEAH!! sooo excited.... he says he's going to write at LEAST three more sequels... awesome!

Sarah I didn't like his reasons for leaving, how does he know that the place where they're going isn't as bad (or worse!) then the one they're leaving behind?

Katie Sarah wrote: "I didn't like his reasons for leaving, how does he know that the place where they're going isn't as bad (or worse!) then the one they're leaving behind?"

Yeah, that's what i thought too! Christopher said that a lot of answers will be in the sequels.

Sarah Yeah, I just thought it was idiotic on Eragon's part, taking his dragon and hundreds of eggs into a completely unknown part of the world, that could have creatures even more powerful than dragons!

I know, when it ended i was like, 'What?!?!?! that's sooo screwy!' idk... guess he'll write it in the later sequels.... wish they would just come out already!! HAHA!! LOL!

Clara Paolini is no longer writing about Eragon!! does no one read the letter at the end??!! he did say that he didn't want to leave Alagaesia behind...

Katie Yeah, but if you read his interview from his website... he said that he was going to write smaller, but more books to the series LATER

Sarah I hope they come out soon!

Michael Firenen seemed a bit too... young, in my opinion, for Saphira. Maybe it's because he came so late in the story.

I argree. She could be his grandmother. I even felt the same about Thorn.

It just feels even weirder when I put Thorn in to the mix now.

Yay!! I only glanced, I didn't have a chance to actually sit down and read what it said, so thanks for updating me!

Katie No problem, ashley! Christopher has a website if you want to check it out! it's pretty cool!

This. I couldn't believe she mated him. I was so mad D:

Joanna Roxanne Smith Same. I was so annoyed ---- It should, should, should have been Thorn!

Maryam Ellie wrote: "Same. I was so annoyed ---- It should, should, should have been Thorn!"

Well, I didn't really want it to be Thorn either, because of the age difference, but I think he was a much better choice than Firnen. And Gladear was too old when she tried to hit on him, lol xD

I agree, thorn had to much on his mind. Nobody, currently, is right for Saphira. It's just the truth!

I hated this part, too! She sees him for all of two pages than jumps him. I was always rooting for Saphira and Thorn because they're the closest in age and it would've complicated the story for the better, I think.

Yeah, I don't believe in love at first sight. I think that this was only done because of Eragon's feelings for Arya.

Anonomous Even if Firenen is young the same is with Eragon and Arya. Arya could also be Eragon's grandma

message 29: by Ruby (new) - rated it 3 stars

Ruby I really wish that Saphira was going to have an egg before they left. It would have made so much sense. Maybe Paolini thought that taking away the love interest and having his hero sail off into the sunset instead of tying a thousand loose ends back home was sophisticated or cool, but it really was annoying, frustrating, and just a terrible choice as a writer. These books wasted so much of my time- I wanted to see what happened, but then it was a dead end.

message 30: by Vinay (new)

Vinay Why does Saphira not mate with firenen? Is it because of Eragon and Arya not getting together.
