Yes, on many accounts. First, being published is being famous (in my books, forgive the pun). Second, being INTERVIEWED, on radio is being famous...by interviewed I mean someone going out of their way to ask you a bunch of questions...not just being a bystander to a terrible tornado, or such thing, and having a quick quote broadcast.
Way to go!
