Belladonna shook the handle of a seemingly abandoned house. She needed in! Frantically she looked behind her before running up to the porch and breaking the glass with a chair. She squeezed inside the house, cutting her arm deeply. How had things gone so wrong? They had been allies! She whimpered faintly and curled up on the floor as she cradled her arm.
Jessie clutched her baby to her chest, holding him as firm as her arms would allow. The least she could do would be to shelter him from the misery she could no longer shelter herself from. A strong wind whipped her hair across her face, dark clouds over head threatened to rain any moment. She was stuck, she was lost, and she was absolutely, indefinitely alone.
Rose fell to her knees and sobbed knowing that her parents were dead "Mommy! Daddy! come back" the 5 year old sobbed unaware of what was going on around her
Another bone rattling, nauseating crash. More bombs, closer now. She had to keep moving. She stood shakily, willing the world to stop spinning. Her lungs felt tight from the acidy debris that fell around her. Keep moving. Just keep moving. Forms appeared on the horizon and she fumbled over her feet, both calloused and bloody, climbing heaps of deformed scrap that littered the wasteland.
The feint figures grew more feint as the traveled, dark shapes bobbing through the thick air. She tried to cry out to them, but her voice was no more then a hoarse whisper. She pulled Leo closer to her, running now to keep the figures, her only lifelines in her range of sight.
"Please, help!" She yelled, her vocal chords straining. She managed to climb another towering piece of metal shrapnel, her hands coming away bloody as she drew away from it's sharp gnarled edge. "Please!"
sethrim set rose down "don't move i will be right back to help you!" he ran back towasrds the woman "im coming don't move!" he climbed over the carnage ignoring the cuts and gashes it gave him he knelt next to her "what's your name?can you walk?"
Belladonna looked down at her arm. It was bleeding pretty badly and if she didn't stop it she'd probably die from it. Thing was... she didn't want to stop it. How was she to survive anyway? All she was doing was postponing the inevitable. She was deaf in a world where your ability to hear you determine if you live or not. She was all alone. And deaf. What was she do to? Running was tiring.... Very, very tiring....
She winced, what could she say? She was nineteen, but there was no reason for these people to start distrusting her over it, if she could avoid the matter with a little lie... "It's Leo." She said slowly, pulling the baby from the folds of her jacket, "My brother."
Belladonna smelled the sharp scent of gasoline as a large car approached. She needed to hide! Staggering to her feet she ran towards the back door, tripping on things as she went. She reached the steps and fell hard onto the stone, muffling a scream with her hand as she fell on her injured arm.
Belladonna groaned and got back to her feet to continue running from the building, but her arm was too bad and too much blood had been lost so she collapsed to the ground out of exhaustion.
Role play now!))
