Sci-fi and fantasy. Those are just main genres though, lol. There are so many sub genres in there.

Hey! Do you know of the movie/show Stargate?

Yeah, it's about a network of gates set around the universe and you can travel from one to another.

Alright, post when you're done.

Yeah, loosely based around it. Still the whole exploration teams and all, but with our own aliens and stuff.

Lets just make charries, we can make the plot as we go.

Name: Robert Hansen

Gender: Male
Appearance: Average height, blue eyes, short brown hair, medium build.
Personality: Smart, curious, easy going, but tough in battle.
History: Didn't have enough money for college, so he joined the AF. He proved his abilities in the academy and was sent to SGC (Stargate command).

Sure, let me make a quick tweak to my guy's age.

Robert drove through the town he was to now call home. It surprised him that he was picked for a spot in an exploration team on a top secret project. He was hungry so he parked at a Subway and went in.

Robert stood in line patiently. There was quiet a line. He couldn't help but notice the girl who seemed extremely nervous.

A boy pushed past Robert while he looked at the menu. What's his problem, Robert thought.

"Hey" Robert grabbed the guy by the arm, "She said leave her alone."

He stumbled a bit, but didn't fall. "It's my business when a man starts harassing a woman."

Robert stared at the man, waiting to see what he would do.

Robert eased up some, then went back to ordering.

Once he finished eating, Robert walked out of the restaurant. He opened the door and looked around. He saw the girl from earlier. He walked over and said, "You OK?"

"He didn't hurt you did he?"

"What was his problem anyways?"

"I see. Well I best be off then. Oh, I'm Robert by the way."

"Nice to meet you. Well I best be off. Goodnight" he said, walking towards his car.

Robert turned around. "Yes?"

"I just did what was right" he said, continuing to his car.

Robert Drove to his new home and unpacked.

Robert finished unpacking and went to bed.

((OK. Sorry, was brain dead and in a rush when I wrote those.))

Robert got up out of bed and got ready for his new job. He was terribly nervous. He wondered what his commanding officer would be like.

Robert put on his uniform and left for his new job.

((I'm so confused XD))

Robert got into his car, turned it on and started toward the mountain.

((Make it something alien, not a gate. Gates are buried, and the one on Earth is already found.))

Robert saw flash of light about a half mile away. He wondered what it could be.

Robert decided to investigate. It's not everyday a flash of light appears out of no where!

((Ok, we need to decide what it is...))

((OOH! It could be the Death Cube! 0_0 Lol, it was in an episode actually. The goa'uld have this thing called the sarcophagus, and it can heal your wounds to a certain extent and even restart your heart. But it was based off of a technology the Ancients used, that was a cube. The cube was meant for them though, not humans, and it actually made mindless zombies, if the person was dead. The only problem with the sarcophagus and the "Death Cube", is that it taints your very SOUL! In other words, it makes you evil.))

Robert drove closer to the spot, until he finally saw it. A small cube, high up in a tree. "What the...?" He stopped the car and walked over to the tree.

Robert immediately started climbing the tree. Once he was close enough, he grabbed the branch it was stuck and and started shaking it loose.

Robert looked down, startled, and nearly fell out of the tree. "Hey! Trying to get this thing down.Stand there and catch it" he said motioning with his head.

Robert kept shaking the tree until it finally shook loose.

Robert climbed down. "What do you think it is?"

"May I please see it?"

Robert examined it. It hand strange symbols on it, which he recognized as the writings of the Ancients from his training. "I'm gonna have to take this with me."

"Do you even know what it is" he asked kindly.

"No, that's why I want to take it to work. I work at a government lab a few miles from here, I would like to study it there."

"It could be a terror device!"

"Give me one minute" he said walking back over to his car.

"What guy?"

"Oh right. Excuse one minute."

He called one of his new teammates and explained the situation.
"Tell her that your CO gave you orders to bring it here" his teammate said.
"Alright, thanks" Robert said hanging up. He walked back over to her and said, "That was commanding officer. I have orders to bring that device to the base any way possible."

"The Air Force."

"Eighteen."
