☺ Catch Me if You Can Challenge:: Read as many books as you can in 2012. The TOP reader in our FF group will be awarded a prize* in January 2013. (*to be determined)
☺ NO BUYING challenge My version of the TBR Pile challenges out there, specifically with me in mind since I have a bazillion books sitting on my shelves to read already. This one would start fresh quarterly. You set a number of owned books to read and then no buying until you've read them all. Get pre-owned books read first and then treat yourself to some new ones!!
☺ A Book a Week Challenge: Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy--- read one book a week for 52 weeks.
☺ Free Me! Challenge: Remember all those 'free' books you picked up from Amazon, BN and elsewhere? Your challenge is to read as many of them as you can for the whole year.
☺ Turn the Page Challenge: See how many pages you can turn (= books you can read) in the Young Adult genre. I know alot of you like the YA books, so here's one for you!
☺ All Ears Challenge: For all our audio book gals--- Listen to as many audio books this year as you can. If possible, please post and leave a rating for the book reader too. As we all know they sometimes can make/break a book.
☺ Naughty or Nice? Challenge: Dickens said we should keep Christmas in our hearts all year long. With this challenge, the goal is to try and read ONE book per month with a Christmas theme.
☺ 1,000,000,000 Pages challenge: Join in to see if our FF group can collectively read a million pages in 2012. Ebook pages will be added from the actual paper copy page count. (Kimberly's idea)
☺ Cover Me: Choose a unique book cover theme and read as many books as you can following it. Ideas would be: covers with food on the front, covers showing people (but no faces), black and white covers, covers featuring an animal (be specific), an umbrella, a chinese symbol, a full moon, a castle, etc. Look at your current TBR books and BE CREATIVE!
