Awesome - I love top 10 lists! I was actually just about to post my own when I saw yours, William. Here goes (in no particular order, but counting backwards for dramatic effect):

10. DRACULAS by Joe Konrath, Blake Crouch, Jeff Strand, and F. Paul Wilson
9. THE COLLECTION by Bentley Little
8. CRUSTACEANS by William Meikle
7. CONTEST by Matthew Reilly
6. CLICKERS II by J.F. Gonzalez and Brian Keene
5. DEPRAVED by Bryan Smith
4. KELL'S LEGEND by Andy Remic
3. THE JIGSAW MAN by Gord Rollo
2. DESCENDANT by Graham Masterton

and the #1 book I read all year was...

1. DWELLER by Jeff Strand

That's two years in a row that Mr. Strand made my #1 book choice (PRESSURE won last year) - I really have to read the rest of his stuff!

Regarding your list William, I also really liked THE POLICY, RAVENOUS, and DWELLER (obviously, since it was on my list). I will have to check out some of the others you listed, as we seem to have similar tastes.

William (wmcc) Nice list Bloodman,I have only read a couple of them,The Collection which was a little hit and miss for me,and Jigsaw Man which i really liked. There are a few authors i haven't heard of (Matthew Reilly,Andy Remic)which is the beauty of lists for me,getting to discover new authors,I will really need to give them a try.I found it hard to choose between Abandon and Dweller(thanks again for the recommendation)as my favourite as i really liked them both.I think i just went with Abandon due to reading a lot of Crouch lately.Anyway,i hope everyone had a good time last night and are not too hung over.

I agree, William. I just got THE TURTLE BOY for free on my Kindle, so I will have to check that one out.

I also wanted to warn you that the books by Matthew Reilly and Andy Remic aren't really pure horror books (although they do have a lot of violence in them), but I included them in my list anyway. If nothing else, they were both pretty action-packed!
