Unlocking Books discussion

A New Year's resolution is about what you want to change in your life, but a goal is the next stepping stones in the path you already travel. Both are good to set at the beginning of the year.

What are your goals and resolutions for the year 2012?

My resolution is that I want to strike a deal with an agent and/or publisher this year. Overally enthusiastic? Probably. My goals are well, hmmm..... I want to finish editing one book and edit another. And I want to write two books next year.

Let's see...My goal is to finish French I and II (I'll be glad when that's over), Algebra II, English III, and Economics. Taking the SATs, that's a good goal to have, specifically in May...and I want to read lots of new books. Oh yeah, and get a summer job.

Resolution is to not be a better person, per se, but to become a more thoughtful one...

Goals include:

Finishing a novel, writing a certain amount of words for said novel each day, getting abs (because I'm ridiculous), and either learning German or Latin.
