Hm... Wouldn't it most likely be a first or second year? A student who doesn't know too much of the Wizard World?
Anyone who's easily manipulated. I shouldn't have said naive. But the younger ones are often easily manipulated.
Oh, and for easy access as to what we're talking about:

I mentioned this in the chat, so I'm not sure if you saw or not, but I feel that there should be some sort of a conflict rising in the RP.
I've sort of been forming the idea that maybe, over the break (in the RP, of course), a student (preferably a Muggle-born; more on that later) could be approached by a vengeful Death Eater who was rounding up supporters to overtake the Ministry, and that he/she had already found a few more of the supporters of Voldemort who had managed to evade the Aurors. The Death Eater would try to persuade the student into joining, and the student would refuse. The Death Eater threatens the student (by saying that s/he will kill the student's parents), but the student is still against the idea.
So later, the student goes back to Hogwarts after a rather peaceful Christmas and New Year and a few weeks into the year, the Dark Mark appears in the sky over the Forbidden Forest, and it turns out, the Death Eater did kill the student's parent, and s/he's there to show the student. Then the Death Eater's like (I'm paraphrasing, of course): "This is gonna all you guys if you don't join us." And then the Death Eater is either killed or Disapparates or runs off. It's open, really.
Anyways, that's my idea. You and everyone else are free to comment on it or suggest changes to it.

Right. :3
I think it should be an older student, if anything.
The main reason why I say Muggle-born is because the parents would be mostly helpless.

Well Hufflepuff has three.
Finn(Whim)
Melissa(Me)
Janine(Kitty)
Gryffindor only has one.
Bruce(Vanny)
Slytherin has only one as well. (I know how shocked you all are.)
Daniel(Ivi)
Ravenclaw has two.
Primrose(Me)
Sam(Ej Luv Zombie)

It's hard to say what year. It depends on the person in question's personality as well. If they can tell "right from wrong" and are pretty strong about their opinion they'd be up to be a candidate. I'd say most kids mature around the time they're 15. ish.
I think Ivi's right. And most people definately aren't mature at even fifteen.
So do you think those people are good to debate who should be it for now? Or should we keep adding to Half-bloods too?

Yesh.
I'm kind if leaning toward Bruce, but he might be one to turn him down flat and walk away just because.

XD Well he just seems like the kind of person.
Obviously, we need to pick someone who's on a lot. EJ is hardly ever on.

We have to ask Van about that one.
Personally, I'm leaning towards Daniel, but I don't want it to be like, "I came up with this plot for my own character" because no, I'm not.

Ooh, I was thinking of Daniel, too.
And I thought I was thinking of one of your girls, too, but there aren't any up there...
We know you're not that way, and it was your idea, so it would be good if it was your character that did it.

HI OK. So I read over this and I could not help but say that if it were Bruce, then his parents would be killed and I have to say it...
Batman, anyone?
Batman, anyone?
It ends in a couple wells, though I might make the deadline shorter because we probably don't need that much time.
