Love it! One of the only first person books I've loved that the main character didn't fall for someone.

Love it too! It's a really special series. Never read anything like it. Only a bit disappointed over Mockingjay.

I'm also a little disappointed, and mad because it looks like a female lead can't go a hole book without hurting a guy.

Yeah, omg that final book -.- so mad over the ending.

if you dont mind me asking, what was so disappointing about mockingjay?

First of all too many deaths. Okay I get that some losses were needed but still... also when the "war" thing was going on. Katniss suddenly just passes out and bam it's done. I thought it'd be more of a battle. Peeta never really went back to his "normal" self. And then at the end with the epilogue (I hate epilogues) Katniss just gave Peeta kids because he wanted them so badly... -.-

That was just plain bad. No one gets kids because the gut wanted it, that's just... gah. And TWO kids.

But then again... It's soooo Katniss...

Lol, there was more action in Mockingjay, though..... But I liked The Hunger Games the best!

My fave was Catching Fire ^^

Definitely watch the movie. We'll be the critic if they give justice to the book, Hahhaah :D

I liked the strong female idea... I hate it when the girl is an annoying, whinny jellyfish princess *coughs* BELLA SWAN *coughs* so yeah, I liked Katniss...

So did I. I hate weak and whinny girls too. That's why I liked Katniss more in book 1. She was stronger & more independent (view spoiler)[and more sane (hide spoiler)] than in book 3. I can't remember much from catching fire. Only that I didn't like it as much as book 1, but more than book 3.

First book: AMAZING

Second book: okaaay...

Third book: HORRIBLE

Perfect description Lisa! I could have lived with only Book 1 and Book 2.

I loved all three, the third one least but still.

My friend Melissa is going crazy with catching fire and she's gonna buy the last book :D yay!

I hope to read it before the movie comes out!!!!

I love The Hunger Games. I loved all three books even though I found the 3rd book a bit disappointing. I am so excited for the movie.

Everyone feels the same about the 3rd book..

I have a soft spot for Gale. :) I say I'm Team Peeta but I like them both.
