Jenna was walking along the isles taking inventory of all the books that they had in stock, so that they could send for more of the books they were in need of.
The Auditore children walked into Flourish and Blotts.
"So this is where I'll be working I suppose. Hmmm, might not be half as bad as I thought." Alexis said to herself.
Rhode, who was standing beside her, overhearing what she said, replied "It looks pretty great to me. I'm working in Eyelops...wherever that is. Hey, when do you start here anyway?"
"I start on the 10th of January. They've set up a spell so that I can work here from the Library at Hogwarts."
"Sounds good! They've done the same with me, so I can work at Eyelops from the Owlery."
"It should be interesting."
"Mmmm"
Jace walked to the shopkeeper. "Morning. I need Hogwarts school books for 6th, 2nd and 2 4th years."

"Right this way," said an employee, leading them toward the back of the store where seven tables laden with books were located. "Each table is dedicated to one year at Hogwarts. This table right here is for second years, the one of there is for 4th years, and the one second from the end is for 6th years."
"Great." He replied."Guys, just take one book of each for yourself from the table for your year on it." He added to his brothers and sisters. They all shuffledforward and started picking up books.
"Thank you very much. How much would that be?"

"35 galleons and 7 sickles," replied the employee.
"Thank you." He said, handing her the proper amount.
They all picked up some books and left the shop.

Professor McGonagall entered Flourish and Blotts and craned her neck to look for an employee. When she found him, she walked briskly to the counter and asked, "Excuse me, the newest edition of Transfiguration Today, please. That will be a Galleon, I suppose?"
Sin walked in, at a lazy pace, and perfectly on time. Nodding to each other employee he passed, he went immediately to stock work. It was odd, to him, to have a steady job like this. Usually he did odd work, that didn't involve a specific time to be there, and was usually finished in a day.
Finishing his shift, Sin stood, marked a board, and took a last glance around. Not seeing anything out of the usual, he stepped towards the door, briskly walking out to God knows where, to do God knows what.
Jacqueline pulled a small list from her back pocket, where she kept her leather coins pouch, and examined the contents from top to bottom before sliding it away into the back of her jeans once more.
She turned to the cash register, where a small man stood poised on one of the leather seats. He smiled down at her, as she looked up into his unusual and slightly obscure face. She tried her best to smile back before returning to her tiny pocket list.
"Um... I'm here for the First Year's Book Supplies. I need some things off my list before I can go..."
The man took her list from her and beckoned for the girl to follow as he began to peruse himself down a long passageway, behind the counter, and outside the shop.
He picked up a bundle of books and handed them to her along with her shopping notes.
"Here,"
She smiled up at the tall figure and nodded before skipping off back towards the shop door.

Flourish and Blotts Bookseller is a bookshop in North Side, Diagon Alley, established in 1454, where most Hogwarts students purchase their schoolbooks. The shop has had a few problems with certain books, such as The Invisible Book of Invisibility which cost them a great deal of money though they never found them, and The Monster Book of Monsters which tore each other up as well as biting the manager when he tried to get one out.
