Ask questions! Ask for help with creating or joining challenges! You get the idea.

Heather | 1 comments I can't seem to create a challenge for my group. How do I do it? I'm the mod. I can see the option anywhere on the page :P

Hi! For me, it's on the top of the right sidebar. Under the group name, there should be a list of links, one of which says, "Create Challenge."

message 4: by Connie (new)

Connie I'm trying to create a challenge, yet the option to Create a Challenge on the right side bar isn't there. What do I do?

You have to be a mod to see the challenge option. I just made you one, so you should be able to see it now. If not, please let me know!

message 6: by Connie (new)

Connie I still fail to see the option. The available subtitles are: Group Home, Events, Invite People, Bookshelf, Photos, Members, Discussions, Videos, Polls, Settings. Is it under one of these? Am I looking in the wrong spot? I was trying it out on my own group before.

Sounds like you're looking in the right place. It should be under Group Home.

message 8: by Connie (new)

Connie Still can't find it. There's the group description, the debut author challenge, the female classic authors challenge, the discussion boards, the members, and then the end of the page.

HMMM. I have a "Create Challenge" link on the "Challenges" heading. Try following this link to create a challenge.

If that doesn't work, you might want to contact GoodReads support.

message 10: by Connie (new)

Connie The link works! How do I create such a link in my own group?
I did contact GoodReads support, they neve responded.

I'm not sure. The "create challenge" linked showed up in my group automatically. Maybe they changed something since I created this group.

I'm sorry support didn't get in touch with you.

message 12: by Connie (new)

Connie I don't know. I'm wondering if they did change it.
Support's like that.

You might try the feedback group? Someone might know more than I do.

message 14: by Connie (new)

Connie Okay, thank you :)

message 15: by Connie (new)

Connie You have to be part of the feedback group to create a challenge. Thank you!

How interesting!

You're welcome! :)

Anna (Unquenchable Reads) (unquenchablereads) How do I create a challenge in a group? (I mod about 10ish groups so i need to know how)

message 18: by Katie (new)

Katie (katayla) | 29 comments Mod
Hi Anna! You have to be of the Feedback group. Then the "Create Challenge" link will show up in the right sidebar, along with all the other group info.

Hi! I don't show you as a member of the group currently. Once you join, let me know, and I'll make you a mod!

message 22: by Emelia (new)
