The cutest picture book I have read recently is Goodnight iPad. I took the book with me everywhere we went during the Christmas break and had everyone read it. I got a lot of laughs and one comment from my sister. "Only the librarian would bring a book to share to Christmas dinner!" Yep, that's me!

My three year old and I have been reading A Sick Day For Amos McGee the last few days. It is a Caldecott winner and we have really enjoyed it. It is about an elderly zookeeper and his animal friends. It is very sweet. I do skip over the two lines about being afraid of the dark. Don't want to give my son any ideas!
