Your welcome! I have a question, though: were exactly are they standed?

On an island in the Bermuda Triangle. The first post I put in the rp was to tell the story of the storm.

i have a question about the dragon rp. do all the characters have to be dragons or can there be other races too, like elves and such? i already have a couple of well developed characters i like to use somewhat in tandem - a wood elf & a dragon prince. i started developing them.... oh geez... prolly... close to 10 years ago when some teen volunteers at the library were doing rp's in a notebook behind the summer reading program desk. lol, that makes me sound so old...

Haha sure it was just a vauge topic but yes there can be other mythical races included as well. Thank you for putting the comment out there for the rest of us it really was somthing I hadn't thought of at first.

sweet, sounds cool. the rp we did at the library taught me a lot about the games. especially why rules & guidelines are so important for each scenario. we were trying to develop an actual storyline along the lines of LotR when all of a sudden BAMF! and ZAP! and such started filling the pages... sigh. poor wizards...

Shweet, okay and I don't know if you found this in the senarios folder but I had originally put in a back story for the whole thing, which is probabaly why there was a lil confusion. But I think that for any other Senarios we should write a back story to it then just freeze the topic so it can be read and not posted on or added to.

could the mods please delete any off-topic postings from each board?there's a lot of posts in the fantasy rp's that don't need to be there. i understand letting people know you have to go, or got apologizing for getting distracted or whatever, but 20+ posts later, you don't need that information anymore. it slows down the rp. thanks!

I'll try, but sometimes people post the rp part and the off-topic part together. And if we delete the whole post, then the rp will be messed up.

so ask them not to. or ask them to edit their own posts every couple days or so. :)

Okay, but I don't see any problem. As long as they put (()), it doesn't really harm anything. But I will say something if I see it.

it just takes longer to read through everything. sometimes the (()) is pertinent to the storyline, other times it isn't, and by the time the reader figures out if it is or isn't important, it's too late to skip over.

Here I have and idea if the (()) is important to the story line we will ask for it to posted with the comment and if not it will be possted a space away.

So that you can tell what you need to read and what is just chit-chat, because personally it is Samantha and I a lot of the times and we ARE the mods and neither of us minds. If you like this method I can send out a mass message to all of the memebers to inform them of the change.

I don't think a mass message is needed, but I do like that idea.

so... i agree that if someone does not post anything for a long time, they should suffer the consequences, but what happens to their characters? can someone else claim them to keep a storyline going?

Hm... good question. I am going to say yes, but you need to have permossion and varifacation from a Mod so that you know you were the one to claim it and then copy it into your own post and inform a mod asking them to delete the other (just so there is no confusion (if what I said made any sence at all))

yeah that makes sense. rosalie in the forest rp needs a new... controller. i was trying to pull that storyline out of the background a little, but if i take the characters involved, i'll be talking to myself too much lol

Rosalie isn't on much and our rule says three months, she was on earlier this week so we can't really veto her yet, but if you message her you might be able to get partial control for when she is gone. You'll have to take that one up with her though because technically she is still within the rules limit so it would be quite unfair if we took her character while she was gone.

Right. Okay then you can take the character Rosalie if you like, but please try and not make any changes to the original character post. And sorry I should have caught that earilier but I have been extreamly busy this week.

sure, i guess i can. it will take me a while to figure her out tho, unless someone else is willing to take her. i normally only work with characters i create, not pre-made ones. it's harder to find their voice & personality.

You seem like a really good writer to me, and her character was very vauge in the beggining I am sure you can fill in the holes by yourself and through reading the past posts.

lol, alright, i'll give it a go. just gimme a little while to figure her out. i've never dealt with faeries before... i'll try to post something with her soon. any idea if the werewolf character she was talking to is still active?

Not sure, he only ever posted once, that I know, so he wasn't really much of a key character.

ok, i added rosalie to my characters. only thing is, the 'wolf was a part of my original post there in the forest... oh well, i'll just have to figure out how to work around it, i guess.
