Great Rebecca. I am glad that you have a book on tap already!

Christie (cereale) I will be reading Catherine the Great. Its one I bought at a library book sale and I have been trying to clean off my owned shelf.

Lisa | 10 comments I'll be reading Catherine the Great: Portrait of a Woman Catherine the Great Portrait of a Woman by Robert K. Massie by Robert K. Massie. I ordered it at the library back in November and it just became available. I haven't peaked ahead at any reviews... I hope it's good. :)

Karleene Morrow (karleenemorrow) | 18 comments Christie, which Catherine the Great? I mean which author. Many out there.

Lisa - bet you will like Massie's version. Well done, a few things ignored which I (as a long time Catherine researcher) though were major omissions
, but otherwise the book is excellent.

Henri Troyat's Catherine the Great. I enjoyed when we read Terrible Tsarinas: Five Russian Women in Power by him and was looking forward to his Catherine the Great bio.

Looks like we have some good choices going. Don't forget to post a short review, or some feelings on the book here http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/7....
