trivialchemy My baby has just arrived, all bundled up in swaddling cardboard...

mmmmm...

sweet bike, Isaiah!! Niiiiiiice!! One of the guys I grew up with rides these 120 mile races, rides to work all the time (which is at least 30 miles each way), and rides for fun on the weekend. Me? I love bikes but can't ride due to disc loss. Hope your new street sex is super charged, baby.

Cyril Aww, how cute.

trivialchemy My 400 sq-ft studio is sadly deficient in nursery space. I could conceivably keep both my bikes in the hallway, but then I would have to pee out the window.

I'm thinking old bike lives in the hallway, Cervelo sleeps in bed with me.

message 5: by trivialchemy (new)

trivialchemy Hmmm an intriguing proposal. Perhaps NASA will provide me funding to support development of a ceiling fan that turns into a bike?

can you hang one of them on the wall anywhere? in front of the window? wow... 400 sf. that's about as tiny as the place i lived in back when i was 19. I loved living alone, though... it's the only time in my life I lived completely and utterly alone.

Xysea (xysea) Your baby makes my baby look like it has Downs Syndrome:

:P

trivialchemy Char, I hate living alone I love living alone. Wouldn't have to do it if anyone loved me! Wouldn't have it any other way!

And you sure don't want to know how much I pay for those 400 sq-ft. Pasadena is not exactly economy living.

Xy, I think that's a fine-lookin Schwinn!

Here's my bike. I love it!

It's a Giant Suede:

trivialchemy Very close, Koe.

Jackie, I love your bike too! The basket is a totally sweet mod. Almost as sweet as the trees in the background. You must live somewhere with seasons?

Thanks, Isaiah! I live in Olympia, Washington, and we had a beautiful fall this year. We don't get too cold in the winter, which I appreciate.

When it snows, everyone panics and stays home. :D

wow Jackie... If I could ride a bike on that road I'd suffer the back pain. Gorgeous.

message 13: by Cosmic Sher (new)

Cosmic Sher (sherart) Isaiah... it's really beautiful, except it's missing a couple of things, like ... gnarly pipes, 120cu s&s engine, 280mm back tire, and the bitch on the back. Sorry, I guess I just like the rumble when I ride. :)

message 14: by trivialchemy (new)

trivialchemy For the record, I think I could fit a bitch on the back.

The 280 mm tire would be more difficult.

message 15: by Cosmic Sher (new)

Cosmic Sher (sherart) LOL Well, the bitch is the most important part anyway... as long as she doesn't fall off. Maybe she could ride in a basket on the front? ;)
