A yearly challenge based on each month's holiday's and/or observances.

examples:

January: A book about a New Year or Martin Luther King or the Lunar New Year which is Jan 23.... could be about space from the stars to the moon. Winter is a good January theme as in snow and family traditions doing outdoor activities.

Februray I would read a book about love for Valentine's day and a book for National Black History Month.

Jan: Every Soul A Star or Winter Garden

Feb: Fat Tuesday cause Ash Wednesday is Feb 22 or a Valentine's Love story for the month. Romance is in the air kind of thing. :o)

March: Murder on the Iditarod Trail it takes place in March as a yearly event and you can track the progress via internet each year. Fascinating sport the dog sledding. Plus you can read something Irish this month too...

You get the silly reading picture right????? LOL!!!

December Holiday Challenges

Christmas Past - Re-read a favourite Christmas story that you've read before.

Christmas Present - Pick a random Christmasy novel off your shelves and read it.

Christmas Future - Read ANY book that you were planning on waiting to read in January and read it in December.

Underneath the Mistletoe - Read a Christmas Romance or two or three if you're anything like me and love your romance novels set during Christmas time
