My name is Francois Swart.
I'm 15 years old.
I have one brother, and two very strict, very Christian, very old fashioned parents.
I cry myself to sleep sometimes.
Not because I miss my family back in South Africa.

But because I'm gay.
And I know they won't be able to accept me for who I am.

Just a straight girl standing up for gay rights...

One thing you should know about me: I can take a lot of things, and I can probably take a lot of hits and brush it right off, but the one thing I cannot stand, the one thing that crosses the line for me and makes me absolutely snap, is some glorifying asshole who thinks he or she is all high and mighty and starts to speak out against homosexuality or gay people and starts to preach like you're some royal priest. You can go ahead and say all the things you like, hey, its a free world, after all, but know this; I won't just stand by and watch you make the biggest fool out of yourself, I WILL fire back at you, and I WILL make it count and hurt if I can. Because this is what I believe in, and people like you make me feel so ashamed to live on this planet. I may not know or have any friends in real life that are homosexual, but who are you to tell anyone who they can or cannot love? Do you think you're trying to scare them off? Trying to scare them into becoming 'normal'? Trying to get others to turn against them? Well, wake up, bitch. No one is afraid of you, there's no such thing as normal, and I honestly hope a big bowl of reality slaps you on your way out.

I think I'm straight...I'm not too sure. I don't care whether someone's gay, straight, bi or whatever, it's their business.
I'm Christian, but I believe that your sexuality does not affect whether you go to heaven or hell. If you're a good person, you go to heaven regardless of sexuality and if you're a bad person you go to hell, regardless of sexuality. God made us all (including homosexuals & bisexuals) and God loves us all unconditionally. End of.

I'm straight, and I have nothing against those who are gay or bi. They usually tend to be the nicest people there are. They did nothing wrong to anyone so they shouldnt be treated any different. Its like one day your really popular, then the next day you've came out and all of a sudden your an outcast. Your distant, no longer a friend but a target. Its unbelieveable and its cruel! Everyone is entitled to there own opinion, but what people do, like bullying, its so unfair. It makes me sick. We are all human, why are gay and bi people treated like shit? God made us to be who we are, whats wrong with that?
