Sorry for not posting anything recently. Hope everyone is doing well!

I'm currently reading GHOST STORY - I don't dislike it, but am having a little trouble getting into it too much. I feel like it's a little slower than my usual tastes. But I know everyone says it's a great book, so I will definitely give it a chance. I remember liking the movie when I was little, but I don't think anyone else really gives it very good reviews. Maybe I'll watch it again after I finish the book.

Anyone else read this one before?

William (wmcc) I thought Ghost Story was a fantastic book Bloodman.I also found it a little slow at the beginning, like King he spends a lot of time developing his characters, but i do like his writing style, it's more subtle with hardly any gore, but really creepy and atmospheric. If you stick with it Bloodman i think(been a couple of years since I've read it) it starts to really pick about halfway through.I hope you enjoy the rest of the book Bloodman.

I'm sorry to say, I just really couldn't get into Ghost Story. I know a lot of people really like this book, so I'm not trying to be difficult, but it just wasn't my thing. I think I've been reading too many "classy" books lately - time to read some more trashy stuff!

William (wmcc) Sorry to hear that Bloodman.I guess it's just a case of different strokes for different folks.

That's okay, William. I will just have to remember not to trust your tastes anymore!

Just kidding of course - and I know I'm definitely in the minority with this one. Everyone else seems to really like this book. Oh well - like you said, everyone likes different stuff.

William (wmcc) Just as well your kidding Bloodman.I have never recommended a bad book and my tastes are just perfect(I'm not joking honest).

I just finished Darkness on the Edge of Town by Brian Keene I liked it,although It's similar to a few books I've read i still found it pretty creepy.Anyone else read it? or a fan of Keene's work?

I read this one, and I also liked it. I am a fan of Mr. Keene, and I even got to meet him once at a book signing, and he was a really nice guy. It's always nice to find out the famous people you like aren't assholes or anything.

One of my favorites of his was Urban Gothic, although I feel like a lot of fans don't like that one as much. And I'm excited, because there is a sequel to that one coming out later this year!

William (wmcc) That's good to know he's a nice guy as well as a good writer.I remember as a kid getting autographs from football players and they just seemed hassled and treated it like a chore. It's always nice when the famous guys make a little effort.

I have read Urban Gothic and i thought it was okay I think I gave It 3 stars. My favourite would probably be Castaways which didn't get great reviews either but i liked it.I just recently bought The Rising,I probably paid OTT for it and really shouldn't have, but what the heck I have been wanting to read it for a while now.I hope It's as good as I've heard.
