I've tried to combine and make everything right when adding the Portuguese edition but didn't succeed :(

Also, is there any way to add the cover image? It's widely available online, for example http://multimedia.fnac.pt/multimedia/...

And also, I thought I won't post new comment about it, so I'm adding it here. I saw that for some reason Polish edition of the book "Dracula The Un-Dead" by Dacre Stoker and Ian Holt has got the description in Russian. I checked the details and my Polish edition has the same ISBN, number of pages and publisher. Even the cover sumbmitted for this edition has the title and subtitle in Polish, not Russian.

I fixed the Dracula book.

Looking at the new edition ("Gwiazda aniola"), it's a little strange because the ISBN is valid, but the author separated the book herself from the other editions (according to the log). I'm wondering if it's not a legitimate edition?
All this could be a moot point however as the book is on the list needing rescue (merging it would work if anyone was worried about the two people who've listed it).

Authors mistakenly separate out editions of their work all the time.

And I checked the ISBN now -I see that the person who created this separate edition wrote the right ISBN (for the Polish edition) in the brackets. It's supposed to be 9788324139941. Surprisingly though, I see that it's also listen in the brackets on the original version's page. I checked the details on the edition I bought.

So you have the Polish edition with ISBN13: 9788324139941, is that correct?

If you do, we can use your information to rescue the book from deletion. In the meantime, I'll combine it with the other editions (not merge).

I'm hoping someone can combine the 2 editions of King of Thorns by Mark Lawrence for me. They were put 'at risk' under the Amazon thing & now they're separate. I've 'saved' both.

I wonder why there is a 'combine' button above the 'other editions' then and why when I click on it it doesn't say 'these are already combined' but says a librarian is needed?

Also there have been 7 rankings on the book for days but on my author dashboard, 6 rankings, implying one vote is on an uncombined edition.

Perhaps it is that only one rather than both are attributed to me?

Combine is there in case there are additional editions (a third or fourth or whatever).

Looks like that may have been a caching issue. I reset the book's cache, and it seems to have taken care of it.

Hi, I am completely new in the librarian rules, so I have to ask how to combine these two editions - the original one is here http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/18... and the one that I added in Bulgarian - http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13.... Usually when I add them they automatically appear as "other editions" but I just can't figure out why this time is different. I also can't understand how to combine them - I tried the "combine" button but it obviosly doesn't work this way.

The primary author needs to the be the same on each book in order to be eligible for combining. If you put 'Jonathan Black' first in the Bulgarian edition, then click "combine", you shouldn't have a problem :)

Izabella, I went ahead and rescued the book from deletion. Could you please take a look at the Polish edition again and verify the information I've added?

That's amazing, thank you! And I forgot that I could give you the description from my book, but everything is correct. Only the title has one little misspelling - in fact it's "Gwiazda anioła" but I'm not sure if it matter that much. Thank you again, for taking care of everything so well! :)

Someone got the combine. FYI: when you add a new edition of a book, it is NOT automatically combined with its fellow(s).

2. In my Elements of the Undead series listing, it only displays one title (Fire) on the front page - it also only says (1) title. The second title (Air) shows up if I click into it. I'd like to have them both show up on the front page.

I combined those books. Also, tried to fix series problem, but, it seams, with no luck. don't know how to help. sorry.

The series problem can be a catching issue as there were made edits to the series page in the last hour.

I got 51 - the primary author must be the same for two books to be combined, just had to switch up the authors and they're good to go!
