I like Owen in Just Listen by Sarah Dessen. He is real and down to earth. Never lies about anything, even if it might hurt some feelings.
How was the book Just Listen?I had read two of Sarah Dessen books and wasnt so impressed by it-Lock and Key and the truth about forever...I feel that both books had a somwewhat similar plot
Yea, I don't know how to describe her books, but they are awesome. They have like a problem like a lot of people in the world have and are just great. Just Listen was really good. It was about a girl who models, and her sisters used to model. Then she meets a guy who has anger management problems, but can control himself. He listens to music, well, his own kind of music that most people would consider "strange" and puts his own meanings to them. Annabel and him figure things out together, while she is getting a better relationship with her sisters and having problems with her friends.
So, it's really good and you need to read it. What was Lock and Key and The Truth About Forever about? Were they good?
Lock and Key is about a girl named Ruby Cooper.Ruby’s used to being on her own: she doesn’t let anyone in, and she’s not surprised when people disappoint her. But when her mom disappears,Ruby is sent to live with her older sister (who she hasn’t seen in years), Cora, who gives her her own room in a huge house and sends her to private school.Ruby’s new life includes living in a luxurious home, attending private school, new clothes, and a chance at a new future. In the beginning Ruby struggles to accept this change and new life. She has been use to taking care of herself and her mother when she was around. She has to learn how to trust people and accept help from others. Ruby also reluctantly makes new friends, including her next door neighbor Nate, who is a genuine popular guy who understands what she is going through because he is hiding a secret of his own.
I didn't read much of Truth about Forever.But i liked Lock and Key...
