Being destined to become some kind of supernatural electrical outlet isn't exactly awesome--especially when Alexandria's "other half" is everywhere she goes. Their connection does have some benefits, like staving off her nightmares of the tragic showdown with her mother, but it has no effect on what Alex feels for the forbidden, pure-blooded Aiden. Or what he will do--and sacrifice--for her.

When daimons infiltrate the Covenants and attack students, the gods send furies--lesser gods determined to eradicate any threat to the Covenants and to the gods, and that includes the Apollyon... and Alex. And if that and hordes of aether-sucking monsters didn't blow bad enough, a mysterious threat seems willing to do anything to neutralize Seth, even if that means forcing Alex into servitude... or killing her.

When the gods are involved, some decisions can never, ever be undone.

I have already read this and let me just say you guys are in for a treat. It's so much better than Half-Blood and it's the best sequel I have ever read. Completely EPIC!

So I am only on the prequel right now.. but I was planning on buying Half Blood this weekend.. now I almost want to wait until this one comes out.

Cassandra Half-Blood doesn't have a major cliffhanger or anything

I reccomend buying half-blood. It's really good and like Kay said....no cliffhanger, it just gets u excited for the series.

Well guys I thought I should mention when Pure comes out me and Mel are talking about buddy re-reading the whole series Daimon, Half-Blood and Pure.
If anyone else wants to join let me know and I can start up a thread closer to the time =)

Yea. I'm the opposite today. I finally submitted my massive essays last night so I can have the rest of this week to catch up on my reading before I start writing up my dissertation next week, and that I'm starting early so that I can take my time with it

Arrrgh so annoyed right now! Some guy who joined this month won the giveaway for Pure... only has like 30 books listed and NONE of them are PNR or remotely similar. He probably won't even read it!! :(
