Ok, this isn't my favorite Hadith, but its a narration from the Prophet (saw):
The Prophet (saw) said:
"Seek the help of Allah and do not succumb to feebleness. An when an affliction strikes you, say 'Allah has decreed this, and He does as He wills.' Do not say, 'Had I done this or that, this or that would have happened', because 'if' opens the door wide for the work of Ash-Shaytan." Page 370 Tafsir bin Kathir Volume 9

So I learned that I shouldn't regret and say, "I wish I had..." because that isn't what happened or was intended to happen and I can't do anything about it. I have to look for the present and the future. And keep the door closed on Shaytan.

my mom told me this one a while ago,it really helps a lot in real life.the one i really liked a lot was this-
"the world is the believer's prison and the unbeliever's paradise"
