You're gonna have to resist some of those Kindle freebies this year! :)
Jeannette wrote: "You're gonna have to resist some of those Kindle freebies this year! :)"You are kidding, right?
I forget how fast you read! *forgive me*
I was speaking tongue-in-cheek, too. :) I've been collecting freebies this week on a book blog giveaway.
Hey, isn't this a challenge to read books you already own? That's why you gotta resist those freebies! But, I suppose they don't gather dust, and they are free.....
They definitely don't gather dust, plus most of them are rather shorter than my usual books so come in handy during end of year crunch time :p
Jemidar wrote: "Plus if you keep them long enough they'll qualify for next year's Mt TBR Challenge ;-D."My thoughts exactly.
Does Angelique marry the King? ;)
hahaha! That would make it difficult......
Misfit wrote: "Considering he already had a queen I would say not :p"Too funny - I'm sure that you'll have no problem meeting your challenge so long as you keep away from the "new" stuff.
I believe that it's most of our problems, which is why we have to create these personal challenges in the first place - ha ha. I figure that I can still tight until my library sale this spring, which is when I'll have a problem. I can't resist paying $1 a hardback or 50 cents a paperback. Plus, the money goes for a good cause, right?
Oooh, I love FOL sales. Never know what you'll find.I'm seriously in trouble now. I have four books from Amazon that need to be at the top of the pile. Four don't count ARCs. Argh!
And who was it that very recently set up a buddy read on a book I just bought and therefore not part of my Mt TBR? Hmmmm???

Glad to see your Checkpoint post. Those ARCs do get in the way sometimes...(and the library...and the books I just bought this past weekend that are calling my name). Good start though!
12. And One Rode West by Heather Graham. Gah, what a disappointing end to this trilogy. Most unlikeable heroine.
I just read about your little thrift store ventures. Does that mean we will be seeing a slew of books added to your reading list and coming up in the feeds? Any great discoveries?
Ah, if it wasn't bit this Books mentioned in this topic
Tanamera (other topics)Evvy's Civil War (other topics)
The Voice of the Dolls and Listen To Danger (other topics)
Jewelled Path (other topics)
Ride With Me (other topics)

The Sea of Love
by Sorcha MacMurrough
And One Wore Gray by Heather Graham
Silver Storm by Cynthia Wright
That sounds rather pitiful, but the rest of my 2012 reads (25 so far!) are library or ARC's.
