At the beginning, it was a good read, Good hard credible science. in the later chapter it goes into La-la- land. It gave me the impression that Baxter went into a writers block and changed gear. Reminds me of some of A.C. Clarke's Novel relating to Rama. great science at the start, and then Larry, Curly, Moe towards the end.
