I love him! He is the bit of humor that the story needs without being hokey!

Andrea I like Eilonwy, she is totally one of my fiction alter-egos!

Katie I liked all the characters in this series for different reasons. I loved Eilonwy, but wasn't thrilled with her going from an awesome action-adventure girl to a proper lady with embroidery and all, even if she did still sneak out to be a part of the story. I'd have to say that honestly, the three wise-women/witches/fates/whatever-you-want-to-call-them were my favorites. They were so well written and so much fun that I just love every appearance they have throughout the series! I liked Doli too. Poor, put-upon Doli.

Fiona Dolan GURGI ALL THE WAYYYY
Munchings and crunchings!

Chey My mom read me these books when I was little, but I absolutely love Guurgi best.

Hibah K I love all the main characters! Eilonwy is my favorite, and Taran is a close second in later books when he grows up and becomes all wise and noble.

Otso Rasimus Hmm, I cannot remember who I liked best. Maybe it's time to read the books again.

Trish Eilonwy, at least in that one, because I was all "YAY! A girl! A cool girl who does stuff!" back when I first read these books.

^ My favorite quote from my favorite character! ^

Who doesn't love Gurgi? ^_^

Lindsay Kitson I fell in love with Adaon, but he was only in one book :(

Catherine GURGI!!!

Andrea Nobody beats Gurgi!

Jesu Eilonwy, i think.
I love her (:

Michael Without a doubt, it's Gurgi. If Gurgi wasn't in the second book, I wouldn't be reading it now.

Gerald Black Gurgi.

Ksowder659 I love Hen Wen! It's hilarious that she's always chuckling and grunting to herself.

I also love Prince Gwydion. He is just the ultimate hero.

K.V. Johansen It's hard to choose! Flewddur Flam, I think. He tried so hard, but his real skills always seemed to be undermined by his ambition to be more and his tendency to gild things a little. (Just a little ...!)When you watch what we're actually told he does, though, you realize he was a decent singer and a very competent warrior. I loved the way Llyn adopted him. I get the impression that part of his function, for Alexander, was to externalize and express that youthful recklessness and desire for glory so that Taran, who's not very introspective when he's a boy, could learn to see and control it in himself.

Will I liked Fflewddur Fflam. I thought Gurgi was somewhat like Gollum.

LaTrica Eilonwy! This was the first fantasy book I read where girls got dirty. She didn't seem to expect special attention.

LaHaie Eilonwy, Flewddur Fflam, and Gurgi. I can't choose just one. Each one of them made me laugh out loud too many times to count and made my heart swell with their good sense and courage. Flewddur was probably the funniest though... the gag of having his harp strings -TWANG- break every time he exaggerated never gets old.
