Ergasiophobia: 1) Fear of work or functioning. 2) Surgeon's fear of operating

uh...Aeronausiphobia- Fear of vomiting secondary to airsickness.

Androphobia - Fear of men.
Anginophobia - Fear of angina or choking.
Anthrophobia - Fear of flowers.
Anthropophobia - Fear of people or society.
Aphenphosmphobia - Fear of being touched.
Arachnophobia - Fear of spiders.
Arithmophobia - Fear of numbers. ( I have this one!! 1,2,3...GAHHHH!!)

Testophobia- The fear of taking tests (I have this one... AHHHH!!!!!)
Clinophobia- The fear of going to bed
Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliaophobia- The fear of long words
Logizomechanophobia- The fear of computers

That's all i know.....

I think it's ironic that the fear of long words is like the longest word ever.... hmm. what is the longest word ever? I'll check.

hippopotomostrosesquippedailaophobiaism is the longest word in the 2008 dicitonary. i just googled it! Ironic, isn't it?

Fear of mirrors

Mine is Arachnophobia-(fear of spiders) I had to see the movie to prove I could do it, and I nearly beat my sister to death every time I saw one. I can't even hold a magazine or book with one on it's page. I was bitten by a Brown Recluse and had to have surgery. Now, they seem to zero in on me with their spider senses just to terrorize me!!!! And no, I'm not crazy! lol

Lol! I'm not afraid of sharp things but heights YES! When I was little I was afraid to go out the back emergency exit of a bus because I thought it was too high (and it was like two feet off the ground)

i'm afraid of, like, swimming in water. >< but not of, like, DRINKING it. lol

some people are afraid of water, I'm sure.

I think that one's probably called hydrophobia.

Of course on the other end of the spectrum, somebody could be a hydrophiliac, and they would love water.
