Who's joining in our Pure buddy read?
As most people are aware Pre-orders of Pure are getting sent out early so I am unsure when the buddy read will be taking place. I want to get a feel for how many people want to buddy read it so let me know.

I also want to buddy read Pure! I am really looking forward to reading it.
Maybe we can start over 2/3 weeks? Everyone should have the book by then ,right?

I have a ton of review books to get to but I definitely want in on the buddy read for Pure. I should have my copy next Friday the latest so any time after that should work for me!! :)

I just started Pure tonight, my paperback came early in the mail, so if anyone gets theirs and wants to join, I'll be reading with you!

I would love to join, but I really don't know when I will get mine, especially since I read the e-version of Half-Blood

The release date for Pure is next month officially but everywhere is selling it early, particularly Amazon and The Book Depository.

Rachael have you already got Pure? Mine is getting sent out in the next few days. I was thinking just waiting until everyone who wants to join in gets their copy and I agree with Lolita starting in like 2 or 3 weeks or something.

I got my copy of Pure, so when do we start the buddy read? I can't wait to read it.

Ooooops, totally forgot about this buddy read business and got carried away. I only have like 10% left of the book. (sorry--just couldn't help myself)

I'm not sure yet the buddy read of Daimon/Half-Blood starts Monday

I obviously didn't wait for the buddy read but I will try to read along when we do it.. hehe.

When are we going to start this buddy read? I am currently still reading a book, so what about starting it tomorrow/wednesday? I really want to read pure!

I can't wait. I really liked the book despite the similaries to another.

The similarities drop out in this one =)
To me anyway, I know some ppl still think there's similarities but to me it's a lot more original

It's where a group of us read the book at the same time so we can discuss

So everyone has the book ready or something and starts reading it at the same time, comes across something that they may wanna discuss and starts talking (typing) about it????
But it's like 11pm!? I don't know about anyone else, but it takes me longer than an hour to properly read and enjoy a book....
But cool!

No not like that. You read at your own speed but people will also be currently reading the book at their own speed and then you come here to discuss. That's why you must use spoiler tags because not everyone will be at the same point in the book

Or when you come across something that makes you go 'WAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNHHHHHH!' (which, incidentally, I do a lot). Then you can come on here and people will pat you on the back and assure you it's safe to read on. ;o)

I'm rereading with the group read, Terri. Sometimes I catch stuff I miss in my eager beaver first read through when I pick a book back up again. :o)

I'm conflicted. Because I'm not altogether sure (view spoiler)[there isn't some ulterior motive going on there. I think Seth initial need to be close to Alex/claim Alex is either fuelled by his Appollyon needs or by some manipulation by Lucian. HOWEVER, I do think Seth is slowly having true feelings for Alex and I think those will soon start to overshadow his original reasons for wanting her. I also think his feelings for her will be his downfall. Although JLA assured a friend of mine that Seth wouldn't be killed off. Which is what I though would end up happening in some kind of self-sacrifice in order to protect her. I do think Seth is being somewhat guided by the hand of another, though. (hide spoiler)] Although I AM kinda loving him more than the other right now but that could be to do with his (view spoiler)[wilder and spontaneous side reminding me of my own husband (hide spoiler)] :o)
