Wow it's great that you're all so helpful :) I guess I just want to know what this whole website's about, and what you do on here. I feel so clueless, so any guidance would be useful :)
So, you've added books to your shelf, that you've read, 'cause I can see them. If you read more later, you can search their titles in the search bar above next to the Goodreads logo.This site is for rating and reviewing books, as well as making friends and joining group of your interest.
The "Groups" link at the top will bring you to a page that shows groups you're in, as well as popular groups and such. You can always search on that page to find groups, and there are links on the side that will show you groups of that tag, such as "science".
Click your photo to go to your profile page. You can edit your profile there by clicking "edit" by your name. By clicking "my photos" by your profile picture, you can upload more photos from your computer. You will have to hit the "add more photos" link on the right side. When you click on one of your photos, a link on the right will say "make this my profile photo". Then that photo will replace your current profile. You can also see a picture for your friends under "my friend's photos". If you click one, it will bring you to your friend's photo page.
You can also follow/friend/fan an author by searching them and clicking their name link by their book. That will bring you to their page. Under their photo will be a "fan" link. Then you will be posted as their fan.
