I would like to replace my book cover (I've applied to be a librarian, but I don't know what happened to that)Here is the cover: http://s1085.photobucket.com/albums/j...
Here is the book:The Ghost of Caroline Wald; a Ghost Story and Horror Novel
Also, it shows two editions. Is there a way to combine them?
Thanks
Michael E. Henderson
Someone else has already done the cover. There was a second Kindle edition with no data I have deleted.

Nobody changed the cover as Renske said. Your editions still have the original cover-art. Moreover, it is against the rules to replace original cover-art with a new one. One of the reasons is because readers want the edition with the cover-art that they bought.
However, Goodreads does allow for alternative cover editions. I have created one for you here:
This edition will become the top or "default" edition when more users have added this edition than the other editions with the old cover-arts. That shouldn't take long, the second cover-art is more attractive. =)

It is not against the rules -- there is a procedure for it. And nobody can buy the book here, they must buy it on Amazon, which has the correct cover. I want the cover changed, and I have a right to have it changed. Kindly do so, or I will just add another book with the correct cover.
It is against GR policy to change book covers once books are published. This is a book cataloging site and readers want the edition they read, with cover on their shelves. The correct procedure is to add another edition with the new cover (without the ISBN or ASIN since that was initially assigned to the first cover)

Yes it is. A SuperLibrarian said so right here. Authors and us Librarians only have the right to change cover if the cover is inaccurate for that edition in the sense that edition never had that cover to begin with.
ETA: Or Paula can tell you herself.
Michael wrote: "Then why is there a procedure for it? Your explanation makes no sense."Can you link the webpage for this "procedure"? I do not understand where is this coming from.
Because we are not replacing the original cover art that is against the rules. We are creating the new a new edition with alternate cover which is the procedure

I made some mistake, I read message 6 too quick and saw only that all editions had a cover, so I though it was correct.
