Delaney This is a fun little activity. Debating which book is better? Maybe I'm curious of how brutal if would go and not like fighting but appointing statements and maybe there would be a winner side. So divide into three sides, Twilight or Hunger Games or Shiver, and show them which one is the better!

People who just want to watch and comment once in a while may.

Ex: Twilight is awesome!
Next person (hates Twilight): NOOO! Hunger Games is bette cause...
Next next person: Booo Hunger Games, poor job on....

Haidi Na your not, I'm just not that great at understanding!

Delaney then let's get this debate going!!!! I DO NOT LIKE TWILIGHT OR THE MOVIE!!!! Terrible caster, I wish they picked better people. Jacob can't keep his shirt on???? Yeah please STOP ripping your shirts. Any objections?

Especially when there is 16 of them running around. They'd be like, "Ok. your clothes r over there and mine r over here, right?"

"no! Those r mine. see?"

"hey quite grabbing my clothes!"

Lucy Qhuay I haven't read Shiver so I can't talk about it.
Now, don't hate me. This is just an opinion and I don't want to offend anybody.
That being said - I don't like The Hunger Games!! :S
I can't relate with the characters, apart from Peeta, Cinna and Rue.
The worst of all is Katniss! I think that she needs to start showing some human emotion. Maybe Peeta can help with that, being all that sweet and stuff.
The premiss of the book is so interesting and Suzanne Collins just ruined everything. I don't know how she made something really original and that interesting seem so boring!
I feel like some author with great writing skills should rewrite everything!!
About Twilight - I love it!! +.+
Everything is just so vivid!! *sigh*

Nice. Even if i haven't "read" The Hunger Games, I'm not so liking it with (1) love triangle and (2) the synopsis sounds boring.

O.o boring?! chomp, one of these days im gonna kill ya :D jk

message 36: by Delaney (new)

Delaney Well at least one of my friends is backing me up as well. I would watch the movie but not read the book. Seriously, it's guessable and cliche enough that i don't feel like reading it. Maybe I would give Shiver a try.
