Harry Potter, obviously

There both very different and have very different plots... Hunger games is more NOW and it's the big thing now... Harry potter is fantasy and sortof falling back with the last movie gone.

doesnt matter if HG is the big thing. its nothing compared to HP

I lke them both too, but I like HP more. The jacket flap fr the first HG is horrible. nothing like the bok, which is good. the HP jacket flap is aweomse just like the book

I read the first HG book. It doesn't compete with HP in my opinion. When I found out it was the possibly the new HP...I was surprised. It's good, I just like Harry Potter a lot more.

Harry...Me and all my friends grew up on harry.We were true fans...Now with the Hunger Games everyone grew up on it and say they are big "fans".Load of poop!!

yeah harry potter is way better, i used to read harry potter when i was a kid all the time, there the most worn books on my bookshelf

though many people say they liked "Hunger Games"..

You can't really compare them because there 2 different concepts. HG is about the cruel government, love, family, and independence, and HP is a fantasy book good vs. evil. People say its the new HP because it's the next big thing after HP. Because HP ended HG is new and big.

And Erica doesn't have to LIKE HP to be in the group... She probably just wants to discuss and see other views.

not really. HP is for all ages. My LA and Lit teachers say that HG is too violent and gruesome. And the idea of the story is sick. It's a great series but the concept is plain sick. Putting teenagers in an arena to fight for their lives just to prove a point.
