Elrick came by and knocked on the door.
Echo was laying on her bed studying when she heard the knock. She flashed to the front door and opened it, "Oh, hey."
"Hey, uh, I was gonna call you, but I figured this would be better."
"Yeah?" She smiled, "So....What's up?"
"Mm. Nothing really. Am I bothering you? Were you doing something?"
"No, I'm not doing anything, Wanna go hang out on the Balcony?
She opened the door all the way and let him in.
He followed her to the balcony. "You have a nice house."
"thanks" she opened the glass doors to the balcony.
He saw the outside, it was a very nice view. "So, since you're part fae, can you like, fly?"
She shook her head, "No, the vampire side of me killed that power...But I can flash places." She smiled and sat down in one of the chairs. "My mom can though. She was raised as a Fae princess. She was bitten by a really strong vampire when she was thirty. It turned her and stopped her aging. She met My dad, and well they had me and Eden" She explained.
"I see. That's pretty cool." he smiled. "I don't really know my past other than my parents were human, I ran away from home when I was 7, and started killing stuff, and then someone found me and sent me here."
She nodded "im sorry... Life without your parents must of been hard"
He shrugged. "They weren't too great. My stepdad, he...was really mean to me and my sister. My mom did nothing."
"OH..." She didn't know what to say to that.
He shrugged again. "Sorry, I shouldn't have told you my boring life story," he smiled
"It's not boring...Mine is. Everyone know's me as 'the headmistress' daughter.' " she said.
He chuckled. "Well, you do share her last name, and she's well, the headmistress, so.."
She laughed, "Figure that out all by yourself?"
He laughed too, "Sorry. What would you rather be known as?"
She shrugged, she focused on the table then a pitcher of beer showed up with two glasses.
He flinched. "Yum" he whispered.
"If you don't want any," she said as she poored a glass,"you don't have too."
He shook his head at her and shrugged, "I prefer wine and rum, oh and martinis.." But he poured himself a glass anyway.
She smirked at him, then a bottle of rum and glasses showed up. The pitcher of beer was gone when the rum showed up, "I like hard alcohol too, but didn't want to come across as a drunk."
He chuckled. "Thanks." He got rum, and sipped it. "Mmm."
She poored some into her cup and tipped it back. She drank it all in one gulp
He raised his eyebrows at her, but shrugged, finishing his after a minute.
She poored herself another one. "So...." she tried really hard to not smile.
"So..?" he replied, smirking for no reason.
"What does your leopard look like?" she thought about what she had just said and choked on her rum, "I mean your leopard you shift into...because you are a shapeshifter."
He laughed for a minute before calming down, and standing up. He changed into his beautiful form.
"OH, shit!!" she shrieked, "You're fucking huge!!"
He mentally laughed before changing back, and laughing for real. "Really, I haven't noticed?"
"I like what you do more than what I do. I'm just really stong and fast...' sh mumbed before taking another shot, "And making booze show up." she smiled.
He chuckled. "Can you make anything show up?"
She thought about it, "No, nothing bigger than a....Leopard." she winked at him...Wow he is really sexy She thought to herself.
He chuckled, and poured himself another drink.
She smiled and put her glass down on the table, "You have any plans for today? I mean other than drinking on my balcony?"
He thought for a moment. "No. Oh wait, I have to call a hooker."
"Oh really?" she asked, "Wow me too."
"Ha-Ha." he said, hoping she was kidding.
"Nah I'm just kidding," she smiled " I prefer strippers"
"Me too! Especially the ones that use poles."
"Done what?" he said, acting serious but really joking.
"With this conversation." She said. She was getting jealous over a fake stipper. What was wrong with her?
