What do you all think? Is there a fude bettween the stars of The Hunger Games and Twilight movies? Are they the same? Is one better than the other? Share your voice here! :)

I sincerely believe that the Hunger Games has a much better story line that Twilight. Twilight is more for people that have a passion for romance.

Okay, yes that is tue, but some people are saying they are based off eachother, oppion?

I don't think they are. One, Twilight is about vampires and werewolves, whereas the Hunger Games is a dystopian style writing featuring people fighting to the death. Two, many books have love triangles, so people cannot say that one author copied a love triangle from the Hunger Games or Twilight.

Very true. It's kind of earatating(sp) cause, yeah they both have love triangles, but they both are kinda of different. What do you think about the different plots? Or Character's?

Now an anwser, well I kind of agree, they are differnt but to alot of people they are the same, but thoese people are only loooking at the small detail's, like the love triangle, and in some way the same polt. Oppion's?

I agree. Twilight and The Hunger Games are nothing alike. People compare their love triangles, but it seems that these days, every YA book has a love triangle in it. Does that mean that every YA book is the same? No.
People like to compare Twilight and The Hunger Games because they are both popular YA novels. I just listened to an interview with Jennifer Lawrence and she said that some people were purposely starting a war between the two books and they were making up things about what she said.

Yeah,I read that interviwe too. I mean, yes that's true,but wouldn't you say its annoying? To alwaus have the book be comepared to eachother when there nothing alike??

Hunger Games and Twilight should never be compared. Pfft- there aren't many similarities between a book about vampires and werewolves vs. a book in dystopian style.

It is very annoying to have them compared. Twilight is pretty bad, in my opinion, while The Hunger Games is AMAZING.

Twilight:
Main character: Bella. Whiny, annoying cant support herself without a man.
Love triangle option 1: Edward: odd sparkly vampire who is somehow perfect in every way
Love triangle option 2: Jacob: odd smelly werewolf who is somehow super hot too.

THG:
Main character: Katniss: awesome great with a bow and arrow, totally kick-butt
Love triangle option 1: Peeta: bakers boy who is very sweet but always npseems to need Katniss's saving
Love triangle option 2: Gale: awesome best friend who mostly wants to stop evil Capitol.

NO! I don't. People are making WAY to big a deal by comparing THG and Twilight. And this is just an opinion, but truthfully, I think THG is alot better than Twilight. I'm reading Matched right now, and it's also a love triangle. Alot of stories have love triangles. Get over it!!!!

Sorry. HUNGER GAMes is awesome! Bella is not as awesome as Katniss.

Okay, to compare them, I imagined them all in their own, personal Hunger Games. Here's how it turned out in my mind:

Katniss: Chilled in a tree eating delicious lamb stew and shot people with arrows
Bella: Ran into a Tracker Jacker nest, was hungry and thought she could get some honey from it, and died a very painful and long death
Peeta: Camouflaged himself as a tree until somebody walked past, and choked them to death
Edward: He all ready died. If not by Peeta, then Katniss shot him, or Gale made a human snare
Gale: Walked around making snares until someone got stuck in one
Jacob: The tribute mutts decided that he was one of them and decided to "play fight" with him, resulting in his death due to a torn out throat

In the end, THG totally comes out on the top.

iIcan't find any comparison between the two, I'm being bias, but I see moral in THG whereas Twilight doesn't seem to show me any. Don't get me wrong I'm a fan of Romance novels but Twilight just give me goosebumps. Anyway, the truce is probably between the movies since Lionsgate said their aim was to make more ticket sales than Twilight did.

I think Twilight is incredibly stupid. It doesn't even have a good moral! It has a bad one! It's nothing like the HG! That's like saying, what's that really dumb show for kids on Disney...oh yeah! Hannah Montana! That's like saying that HG is like HM because there is a love triangle in HM! That's a really pathetic excuse to compare books. HG rules!

oh I used to watch it when I was younger and there is this one guy ( I think his name was jake?) and another (Jessie?) guy. Miley just couldn't decide who she liked better. It was REALLY stupid :)

I like both books and both movies...but if I had to pick a favorite. It would definintely be HUNGER GAMES!!!

Twilight is a series of supernatural raging teenager hormones. In the Twilight series, they survive because of their stupidity. In the Hunger Games, they have to survive because of their rebellion. See the difference? Hunger games has a WAY better story line!

In my opinion I think people go out of their way to find things to nit pick at. They did it between Harry Potter and Twilight and neither had anything to do with each other besides the fact that they are both fantastical and considered young adult. As like the HG, it falls into that genre too.

But, I like all three and I dont really see why people get so freak about it. Twilight was an easy read. Quick fast and non-intellectual. Harry Potter was the series I grew up with. And the hunger Games is the new hot series.

I really loved the HG books. They are my personal favorites :)
