Children in this district presumably start their work young, and probably have a variety of job choices including the option to work in gem mines, factories, as designers or artists, ect. District One citizens, like those of 2 and 4, hold the Hunger Games in high regard and train regularly for it, leading to advantages on the field. Tributes from this district generally place high in the Games.
