I thought I'd start a threat for writers or readers who are interested in researching Gothic related subjects. I'm thinking that we can post books or articles that others might find of use.

I'm going to start with some books that I've found useful in researching the Witch Trials (the information is good if writing books with Witches in them (as I have in mine)).
The Encyclopedia of Witchcraft and Demonology by Rossell Hope Robbins Compendium Maleficarum The Montague Summers Edition by Francesco Maria Guazzo The Malleus Maleficarum of Heinrich Kramer and James Sprenger by Heinrich Kramer The Devil in the Shape of a Woman Witchcraft in Colonial New England by Carol F. Karlsen Witchcraze New History of the European Witch Hunts, a by Anne L. Barstow Salem Story Reading the Witch Trials of 1692 by Bernard Rosenthal Salem Possessed The Social Origins of Witchcraft by Paul S. Boyer The God of the Witches by Margaret Alice Murray

Nenia Campbell (neniacampbell) Here is an interesting non-fiction book on vampires. If nothing else, it's definitely funny and amusing!
