ehhh. i htink jacobs better in the movie than in the bok. cuz in the book, he is always doing somehitng that relly bugs u.

lik, he imprints on renesmee after all bella has been through and stuff. and imprinting is like when jacob binds himself to renesmee and so, its kinda annoying.

he's sooo hot, but also honestly a damn good actor!
I've seen a movie or two he's been in and he's pretty good! I anticipate his return in New Moon. I really can't wait to see how he puts his own personality into the character Jacob as Jacob goes through his wolf changing stage!

okay i just read "i want to shoot Jake" and "Taylors not hot" and "i like rob better but Taylor is closer to my age"...ugh i can't stand it anymore!

Alright guys calm down! I guess the discussion is about Who you think is a better character in the books, and it's about Jacob and Edward not Taylor and Robert!
Well, it's very clear from the novel that Edward is way better than Jacob, and that was mostly revealed in Eclipse. Jacob always insisted to cause Bella pain, as he insisted to prove that a part of her is in love with him and when he first tried to kiss her by force and he acted so selfishly as he always wanted to prove things on the account of Bella's feelings. And in Breaking Dawn too, after imprinting on Renesmee, when he heard Rosalie saying that they might move to another place out of forks, he acted selfishly for the second time and phased infront of Charlie and brought him to see Bella though he also knew that it may hurt her! Unlike Edward who always seemed a sacrificer. He left her in New moon for her own sake, though we all knew how much it hurted him to leave her but he thought that it was the best way to keep her safe. He always wanted to make her happy and he finally acted like a noble when in Eclipse he told her that if she wants Jacob he will just shag off as he only wants to see her happy. And not to mention Edward's pains and sufferings that were described by Jacob himself when Bella was dying cause of her pregnancy. And finally he tried a lot to make peace with Jacob but Jacob rejected.
So it's very clear that Edward is way better and less selfish than Jacob.

@ Fo_shizzle : It's a fictional romantic novel, which make all the characters are far away from reality not only Edward!

I'm sorry but no matter what you guys think about him he is a fictional charecter. talking about him wont make him any more real.

We are not talking about Pattinson's hair cut, we are just discussing the characters of the novel.
And about what ever is happening in Iraq, it's not the right place to discuss politics,as we are here to discuss books though many people missed that point.
