PRLHS Book Club discussion

Okay, so I have been meaning to start this discussion and I'm happy that I could start it. The Mortal Instruments is my favorite series (The Hunger Games is a close second, but that's just me). So far there are four books out; City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass, and City of Fallen Angels. The newest book is City of Lost Souls and I'm so excited for it. This series made me stay up late and not do my homework just so I could find out what happened next. I just could not put it down (when I did I was thinking about it). The last book made my mind real with questions. I need the next book to answer then, but I must wait (Why! Why do I have to wait?!). ^-^

I know! I HATE WAITING!!! The suspense is killing me! lol

Me too! Waiting sucks! lol but I'm sure it will be worth the wait! ^-^

Okay...and each period counts for a bajillion years. lol

I don't think that's a word... but still how many is that. Does that mean that our great great great (so many more greats that she lost her voice and had to get a new one) grandchildren will still be panicing over a book that was published bajillion years ago. lol

yes. this still continued up until the future. (I live forever you know lol I will never BLINK!!!)

Live forever eh? That sounds like a brilliant idea!

All we need now is some kind of potion that could make us do that. i will create it! All i will need just a touch of mocha coffee and i will be able to succeed in doing such. MUAHAHAHA!!!

Or we could go and talk to Nicolus Fermel (from harry potter books, book 1. We could just get the sorcerers stone from him. Or the pholosifers stone from FMABH (Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood). But it might be easier for you to create it (though it would have been fun to meet Ed ^-^).

This is one of the best book series ever created!!!!!! In my very very top for sure! It's so exciting and unique and you won't find that storyline anywhere else!
Have you guys been reading the pre-series???

Yeah its amazing! That's why I created a discussion for it. I can't wait until City of Lost Souls comes out... WHY DO WE HAVE TO WAIT! Anyway yes Karlynn I have read the pre-series... AND I LOVE IT! The clockwork men are so strange but they are cool. There is only two out right now but I think the third and final book comes out in November... SO MUCH WAITING! Oh well it will so be worth it! ^-^

I just got Clockwork Prince and have yet to start it. My brother told me it was pretty slow at first, but my little sister loved it. I prefer the original series, but adore this one as well. I have to finish some other books before I start it, but I'm excited! I want to see what's up with Will!
I liked how the third Mortal Instruments ended, and then they had to throw the fourth book in there! Which was still absolutely amazing, but I'm dying here waiting for the next one!!! I miss my Jace and my Magnus and my Alec :/ The book needs to come out so I can visit them again :)
Have you read The Girl in the Steel Corset by Kady Cross? It's the same kind of Steampunk theme as the Clockwork series. So good! You should try it out :)

No I haven't read that, but I will have to look in to it. Yeah Renee and I just looked at the new summery for the fifth book of the mortal instruments. OMG I can't stop thinking about it... you need to read it. Yeah Clockwork Prince has a very funny scene between Magnus and another character... its awesome. As soon as you read it you will know why. ^-^
