7EL1 - Group 2 discussion

Day One.....

The novel I am reading is called Tensy Farlow and the Home for Mislaid Children, by Jen Storer.


The blurb is left open ended and doesn't give away too much information however just enough to make you want to read on. It gave me the impression that the book would have a slight gothic theme. It talks about how Tensy Farlow (the main character) was born without a guardian angel and is perhaps in grave danger.


The cover gives off a sort of scary vibe which sets the seen for the book. While analysing the cover your eyes are naturally drawn to the fiery haired girl. This is who I predict the main character will be.

From reading the blurb and looking at the front cover I predict the book will have a eerie/sinister theme. I think the book will be about the girl on the front. Probably how she doesn't have a guardian angel and how this leads her into danger.
